Sadly, management judges you when you arrive. If they don't like you for whatever reason, the sales team hikes the rate and lists the property as sold out.I resided here for two nights. First, they said there were no additional units available. Then the rate went from $263.85 to $390.80. I paid the $390.80 because my vehicle is getting repaired, and I didn't have time to make a quick move because I had meetings set up.I asked Pearla (Sales Associate) if she could honor the previous rate, I paid of $274.89. She said no because rates change daily. This is unheard of, especially because the website states that they match prices. Also, they unusually extend the stay and honor the previous rate. Surprisingly, the rates will go back to normal tomorrow. Very interesting. I can't help but think I am being discriminated against. Also, the front desk clerk, Dan, called me each morning at 9:00 AM to confirm my reservation when checkout is at 12:00 (noon). What is the point of the 'Do Not Disturb' sign when the calls are pouring in early in the AM. I had been up writing all night and preparing for my presentation for work. I was exhausted.I only booked separate nights because the booking is non-refundable, and we travel a lot. Shame shame.I spoke with the General manager, JayJ. He lied, lied, lied. He is morally corrupt. Sad for business. There is some illegal business going on here as this company is connected to the Reno, NV locations that is corrupted with sex-trafficking. Sadly, many women are escaping this and now have to deal with in at this location.

My boyfriend and I were staying at this hotel for the first time we were both blown away. The rooms were very nice and breathtaking. The breakfast was great. And the breakfast hosts Maria and Debbie were very nice. They did an awesome job at breakfast. They were both really nice to talk to. They both gave me great service. Please recognize these 2 great ladies. They did an awesome job at what they do.

You can't beat this hotel for the price, cleanliness, and all the amenities!! If I'm ever in the area, I'll be back here again. This hotel was much needed after a long day of work and travel. I'm a little disappointed that I didn't get to enjoy the hotel as much. I arrived a little after midnight and left early morning. However, the suite was great for the entire family to get some space, shower, rest and recharge for the next day. 2 bedrooms with king beds, 2 bathroom, pullout sofa, and fully stocked kitchen was great. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for a soccer tournament weekend. Pros: very clean, good living space in room, kitchen amenities, good location, plenty of places to shop and eat near by, friendly staff, free breakfast (decent selection). Also pet friendly.Cons:Only half a shower door, so the tile ends up wet. Our room had a crack in one of the windows on the outside. New price for pets to stay is $150. All in all I would stay here again.

Overall a pretty decent place to stay if you are going to be in Modesto for a few weeks. My room was a good size, though it was a studio rather than a one-bedroom. The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked with dishes, pans, etc. The breakfast was OK: same limited menu every day for two weeks, but reasonably good even though boring. The exercise room had a decent selection of gear and was not crowded, but the TVs on the treadmills had a channel selection that was a total mystery. I never did get it figured out and I had no idea what my viewing options were.I would suggest avoiding the rooms at the back of the hotel: they are very noisy due to a major road and a lot of motorcycles.

I’m not sure when it was built, but the hotel seems new. Nice contemporary style, the king suite room was huge and immaculate . Huge LG TVs and nice living room set up. Had a kitchen and full size fridge . Great AC. We loved it here. Breakfast was pretty good, on par for hotels serving complementary breakfast. My one criticism is that there was no shade at the pool. It was over 100 degrees outside and the pool area was unusable because it was in full sun without shade. Some large umbrellas could solve this.

I stayed here with two of my girlfriends as well were visiting for the weekend. First glance the lobby was nice and clean. They had a little store as well. Breakfast was OK. The room was spacious and had amenities I was surprised they had. Also pull out couch came in handy And wifi was great. I would recommend this place if you are visiting the area

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn Marriott in Modesto, and I was blown away by the service of the night auditor, Lou. He went above and beyond to make sure that I had a comfortable stay. When I checked in, Lou was very friendly and helpful. He gave me a tour of the hotel and showed me to my room. He also made sure that I had everything I needed, including a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, and a working TV.The next morning, I woke up early and went downstairs to the lobby. Lou was still working, and he greeted me with a smile. He asked me if I had slept well, and he offered me a cup of coffee. I accepted his offer, and we chatted for a few minutes.Lou told me that he had been working for Marriott for many years, and he loved his job. He said that he enjoyed meeting new people and helping them have a great stay. He also said that he was proud of the work that he did, and he wanted to make sure that every guest had a positive experience.I was very impressed by Lou's friendly service and his dedication to his job. He made me feel welcome and appreciated, and he went the extra mile to make sure that I had a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this RI Marriott to anyone, and I would specifically request Lou as my check-in guy. Here are some specific examples of how Lou went the extra mile for me:* He gave me a tour of the hotel and showed me to my room.* He made sure that I had everything I needed, including a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, and a working TV.* He offered me a cup of coffee in the morning.* He chatted with me for a few minutes and asked me about my stay.* He told me that he loved his job and that he was proud of the work that he did.I would definitely stay at the Residence Inn Marriott again, and I would specifically request Lou as my night auditor. He is a friendly and helpful employee who goes the extra mile to make sure that guests have a comfortable stay.

This hotel is the newest in the area. I've stayed here a few times. Here are my observations. Residence Inn has kitchens, and it's a little more than surrounding competitors. If you need one, it's stocked sufficiently. Included Breakfast is ok a little bit better than others. The beds are decent. I'm susceptible to aches with a bad bed. Downstairs has a perfume scent, and if you're sensitive, don't spend too much time downstairs in the lobby . There are no rooms with 2 beds and sofa bed not comfortable for anyone that weighs more than 100 pounds. When I was there, the pool was not heated, and the spa didn't work or fire pit either. Swallows have taken up residence, so expect your car to get carpet bombed. California won't let them do anything to correct the situation, but this is still the best in the 15-mile radius.

I’ve stayed here before. Yes it is a good hotel. But why would I pay $300 per night for a Studio in Modesto? When I stayed here in 21’ the same Studio cost me about $150 per night. I stay in Residence Inns all across Cali. I am a Titanium member of Bonvoy. My company pays for my stays. I will never stay here at those outrageous prices. Talk about price gouging. And…it’s freaking Modesto lol

My 2 great grandkids and I had a wonderful stay there. The continental breakfast was amazing.Safety: Their safety key cards for entrance doors was reassuring.Food & drinks: Also great snack machines. Great selection, no need for change, can use debit card.
