Such a big warehouse made me feel really tiny. Wait wasn't bad.Make sure you take your if and proof of residency plus something for each dependant. Even though I don't think it matters how many people you have. Everything set ? up to go already waiting for youA life saver when times get tough

Serving San Joaquin County and surrounding areas helping people with transportation and in access to community resources. Salvation Army is a large well-known organization that's still running and helping doing their part . And through the hard times that some people are faced with.

I had a voucher to get some food, which I needed badly, so I went to the Salvation Army Food Warehouse. The initial person in the office I spoke with, an older, dark haired woman, was very rude and abrupt with me. She had a problem with my bringing in my ESA dog, Karai with me. Her reaction upset me greatly and made me feel very uncomfortable. It was extremely hot that day and she expected me to leave Karai in the car in the unbearable heat. However, there was another, younger, dark haired woman, who was nice and treated me decently. I wish I had taken both their names down. The volunteers working there were nice and helpful. They loaded up a cart with a large box of food and some various items. It started off terrible but ended well. Thank you Salvation Army, for the much needed help.

I guess it depends on what day you go but I went on a Monday at 8:30am & I ended up getting a bunch of salmon & scallops as a main entree for dinner. I didn't open the box till I got home so I didn't know, but I can't eat salmon nor scallops so it was a big no win for me & my kids. However my neighbors liked it so I gave them the whole 5lbs of salmon & 3lbs of Scallops. So in short my advice is to take a look at what you get before you load up & leave or you might also end up with out much. Because like a lot of these places S.A. tries, but they just don't give out anything that I would buy at the store. But thank you Salvation Army for being there & helping us.
