This store used to be my jam. I do still enjoy the sales, but what I really used to like was the fried chicken section at the deli. However, I can't help but notice a sharp decline in the quality of it. It's kind of hit or miss now, and lately it's been mostly miss. I had to throw out 5 of 8 pieces yesterday, because they tasted super stale, were dry, and one had a strange fishy taste, which I spit out immediately. It was rotten. The clerk that afternoon did not seem too thrilled to be there either, and was a bit rude. I don't mind an unhappy clerk, I get it, we are all human. I do my best to be respectful, and that's all that really matters to me. But once I realized her attitude, I instantly regretted being there. Because of that, on top of the horrible quality of what I left with, and ultimately had to throw out, I decided yesterday that I would be switching to either Safeway (never had a bad experience with their chicken! Same recipes, but Safeway is doing it right and maintaining consistency/quality.), or Savemart on Pelandale.

This store is amazing ! All except for a worker by the name of Aly!!!! Thanks to her I will not be coming here anymore. She needs a lot more of experience before working around customers! If I could give zero starts o would but it won’t let me to write a review!! The whole time she was watching me and my family in the store and had the audacity to try and flirt with my husband with my children present. Such disgusting behavior!!!! Not only is she bad for customer service but also as a human being!! Who does something like that with children present! She must not have been taught anything growing up I feel sorry for her in a way but still unacceptable!!!!!!!! She needs to be fired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its a good store but Ali the manager had helped me with a price check but as I was leaving the store she made a joke behind my back like a child after I confronted her and asked her what was the problem she tried to justify her actions then was rude and walked of on me. She definitely lacks customer service in some areas I don't understand why would someone work if not wanting to deal with customers and meet their needs

Not only do I shop here quite regularly, but I am able to receive sufficient and equal service despite being deaf. Recently, it was brought to my attention that the young service clerk, Melanie, had taken the time to learn basic signs in order to efficiently assist me. When helping, she is able to maintain small talk and serve me out to my car. She is such a sweetheart and definitely a great asset to Savemart on Standiford.

Usually get great hot deli food..BUT I called ahead and if they could make some fresh potatoes, they said yes. Well on the way home I stopped picked up my order,when I got home I found they just didn't and gave all the bottom of the greasy pan it was disgusting had to throw it out SHAME ON LAZYASS EMPLOYEES GRRRRRRR..

This Cake was so good ?a friend of mine got it for my Birthday ? the strawberries were fresh. The inside of the cake ? is white cake inside. The frosting was light and fluffy.
