I believe I've experienced ageism. She was a heavy young woman.... Her demeanor was rude and rough. The young men are much nicer and very informative about a particular product.

Horrible customer service. No one offered to help. Workers just standing around talking to each other. They don't answer their phones and have an attitude when you attempt to ask for help. Will not be back. Will continue to purchase online.

I'm pretty sure they were thinking I was stealing and honestly it made me so uncomfortable I didn't even buy anything and had anxiety and left. I got asked 5 times if I needed help. 3 by the same person. She handed me a bag for 2 things i was just kind of looking at the colors of so I put them back and the bag. then found me again to ask me about if i changed my mind about the item. like clearly? if i didn't have them in my hand ma'am. Then when I got so uncomfortable I just wanted to get my pick up order and go and on my way to checkout a manager asked me if i was needing help but like super aggressively? then her and the other girl just eyeballed me clearly talking about me while I was in line. I have such bad anxiety and struggle with being around people in general and these workers made my experience not great. I usually don't write reviews but this was just a really bad experience for me. Ultimately they were fake nice at counter and I will go to the kohls one like I usually do lol

As a devout Muslim America woman that wears the religious head cover known as the “Hijab” I am ashamed to admit that I have experienced a few incidents of discrimination in my home town of Modesto California. A town that I was born and raised a 3rd generation Arab American. From nasty glares to more overt displays of biases, like being skipped while in checkstand lines in attempts to undermine my existence (when confronted I was told they didn’t “notice me”). Yet I have never encountered such bold, contempt desecration of a religious and cultural practice, to which I subscribe, until I walked into my local SEPHORA when I encountered a individual wearing the full Niqab, brazenly mocking my sacred religion, working behind the counter then as soon as she spotted us she immediately stormed outside to go “pray” while keeping eye contact with us and also wearing the face covering which is not allowed while praying. This person in question Is not muslim nor Arab, and their only objective was to mock my religion and culture and not just appropriate. This was made evident to me when I questioned them. After my concerns were brought to Sephora management, I was told that my grievance was invalid and nothing will be done to rectify the irrefutably offensive actions of their employee. I have no other recourse but to take the complaint to social media and specifically consumers who spend billions of $$ with this company.

Chris, the young man that helped me from the moment I walked in, was friendly, knowledgeable, spot-on with color and product recommendations and clearly passionate about what he does! I really appreciated his help and advice. Also, the other employees were friendly and helpful too, and the store was clean and organized. I had no doubt that the testers were sanitary and being well taken care of. And, once I was done (Chris kindly walked me to the check-out line since I wasn't sure where to go) I didn't have to wait very long to pay. A great shopping experience overall that far exceeded my expectations.

I finally found the Sephora store hidden in the back, right corner of the Macy's courtyard...So I told the Sephora rep that I was a 'deep' Autumn and that I was looking to buy several Sephora-brand cosmetic items. We started with the 'Find My Shade' foundation match finder tool. After five (5) tries the Sephora rep suggested a foundation and a concealer.I chose the right lipsticks, eye shadows, and one out of two blushers on my own. The 2nd blusher was for a deep Winter. I'm an Autumn. Although there is a little cross-over between deep Winter and Autumn, I selected the wrong blusher. The Sephora rep was right there the whole time!The Seohora Rep is the professional. She should have told me that that 2nd blusher wasn't my shade/wasn't warm enough for my skin tone. Her decision to remain silent becomes more clear when I get home and realize that the fiundation and concealer that she selected are too dark for my skin tone.Thankfully, my niece had products that were closer to my color. I returned the unused items and was fully refunded with no problems.The Sephora store has terrible lighting. Use of the natural light outside might have saved me a return trip.

Very very very upset with the customer service I received from one of the associates in this store. I usually buy my makeup from this store but very disappointed of how this individual treated me today! Most likely never coming back and/or my family!

I took my daughter here to get her makeup done for her senior portraits. It was an hour out of our way and we could not have been happier with the results. Everyone was so helpful and friendly and Angel did a super great job with being patient with me hovering while doing my daughter's makeup??BTW Angel, the pictures turned out beautiful and they weren't edited yet ?
