I love my Stickley sofas! However, it did not start out that way. Initially, the wood tone did not match what I ordered – the Stickley factory messed up. Tom Slater made it right. There is a reason Slater’s has been in business for more than 100 years – high quality products and great customer service. Leveraging Slater’s strong relationships with Stickley, Tom arranged to have my sofas re-stained by one of Slater’s craftsmen – Martin. I could not be happier with the result – perfection! All around a great experience with Slater’s Home Furnishing. Dan made my buying experience enjoyable. And Sharon was also helpful in Dan’s absence - both are very knowledgeable. Quality products and quality service – Slater’s is the best in town.

Came here during MODSHOP, wouldn't normally pop in as I'm not in the market for furniture, but the place is very nice. Very cute art studio upstairs!

Products ordered appeared to be used, that is, from another Home Furnishings Store. In example: A very expensive table we ordered had rubbed in elbow marks delineating “high-use”. This happened on several occasions requiring products to be r/returned, repaired, and more.

This review is LONG OVERDUE. Sometimes you frequent a business for reasons other than their products... and trust me, Slater's has BEAUTIFUL furnishings. But I am also writing about human decency and kindness.... a person/business who goes above and beyond... and Slater's became an angel of sorts for our family. My sister had a two year battle with cancer. Her last year of life she spent much of her time in a leather recliner she purchased from Slater's. When the chair's back started to slump on one side, I called Slater's. I explained the importance of my sister having a comfortable chair. They sent out technicians to check out the problem. They promised to take care of it. We expected they would repair the chair, but about a week later, they sent a new chair with upgraded features including an electric recliner. When you have a very sick loved one, any comfort they can receive is priceless. My sister died September 1st. THANK YOU SLATER'S HOME FURNISHINGS FOR YOUR COMPASSION AND GENEROSITY.

An Artist Haven Nicole Slater has alot of beautiful artwork all over in her Studio and is a great art.Went their for Open Art Studio tour.They also have state of the art tables ,chairs,sofas,and art on the walls they have been in business for many decades.
