In my opinion, the Walmart Pharmacy is the best pharmacy there is. I switched from CVS (who used to always run out of my medication when it was due, etc., etc.) I have never had one single problem with Walmart. Good job! Keep it up! ?

My primary physician prescribed Tramadol, a class 4 pain reliever, for my chronic knee pain and sent it to this pharmacy to be dispensed. Notwithstanding the physician orders for 60 tablets, the pharma tech refused to dispense more than 7 tablets, telling me in error it is "highly addictive." There is some abuse risk, but it is also not particularly effective, which I told him, as well as mentioning I have a MA(AD) and certifications as a master addictions therapist. I agreed to an initial fill of 7 because I have never used this medication before. Then he tried to charge me $1.70 a tablet. I had researched the price and had high confidence Walmart bought it for $.03 a tablet and generally sold it for $.22 a tablet without insurance and that my insurance had a copay of $.09 a tablet. I won't claim this pharmacy was trying to rip me off. I will suggest that customers who are concerned about excessive high prices at this pharmacy consider comparison shopping.

Today, 5/12/20 at around 12:30p.m. a young gentlemen did not want to give my dad his medicine. He told him they were not able to give out that medicine. So, he went to another Walmart pharmacy and they were able to give it to him. This is not the only time that this has happened with the same guy. My dad had gone to pick up my mom's prescription and the guy told him they didn't have it. When another girl helped my dad she got the prescription he needed and asked the guy why he didn't give it to him. If he's not there to give customers their prescription, then I don't know what he is doing there. It's rude and inconsiderate to have my dad be driving somewhere else to get his medicine when he clearly was able to give it to him. Walmart pharmacy needs to do something about this guy! My parents have been going to this pharmacy for years and never really had an issue until this guy came along. If he's going to withhold the medicine our business will be going somewhere else.

I just want to take the time show my appreciation to Bouny (one of the techs in the the pharmacy). Because of her exceptional world-class service I received during my most recent visit. Thank you, because of her service I will be returning.

I am extremely dissatisfied with this pharmacy. Was given false information from the pharmacist regarding the fact that he said Walmart does not accept coupon cards for my specific meds, found out later that yes, they do indeed but a little too late to help me. Paid almost $200 for what should've been $53... Walgreens from now on

If I could give 0 stars I would. The heavy set younger guy that works in the back at the pharmacy is so doggone rude. He should be fired. I have a doctor from hell that I am changing from.

After having a significant Problem of Discrimination and and outright misconduct by CVS, I moved my prescriptions to Walmart. CVS has not been helpful, and actually maliciously interfered with the transfer process. Walmart went way beyond the "Extra Mile" and has been doing everything to get my prescriptions handled. Additionally, the lines are never very long. CVS the wait can be 30 minutes or more. There is no comparison. I will not be setting foot into CVS again. If they go out of business, I will CELEBRATE.

I don't always agree with Walmart policies, yet two of their pharmacies, one on the north side of Laredo, TX, and one on Plaza Park way in Modesto, have been very helpful in the past. While finishing out a ph.d. degree in finance,(last or next to last semester) we are very low on money as a family. In the Modesto Store on Plaza Park Way, There were several staff members who went beyond the distance, by far, to make sure that the insurance, covered my prescription(Medicare Extra Help). It must have taken the tech at least two hours to resolve by phone, while still handling attending to others. Overall, this young lady(Molly), and the pharmacy crew did an incredible job. For that I am thankful. A big thank you to Walmart pharmacy members at this location. Overall, the entire staff does the best they can, and Molly I believe was the techs name.
