2022.01 8:15 amCash OnlyNeeded Star Smog certification. Reviews are all over the place but found friendly assistance here. Rolled through before work, pretty chilly in January so bundle up. There is an outdoor mosaic tiled table and bench as well as some indoor office seating. Brought the dmv paperwork as well as a coupon I prontedStaff carefully explained the fees which are clearly printed on the coupon. $29.75 smog check$8.75 state certificate if passed$15 if '95 or older $10 for trucks vans suv$10 for Star certificationMy van with coupon $60I was first in line. Since they just opened they said it would take 20 min to get the computers up and asked if I was okay to wait. Seating options were explained and also advised I may be more comfortable in the car since it was a cold day.I waited and when electronic tech was ready I was politely directed to sit In the waiting area.While running the smog check he brought out the invoice for me to sign priced according to our verbal agreement.

I paid 35 bucks for Test, Certificate and Electronic transfer. That's a great price. I didn't even need my DMV Paper work.. He kinda hassled about not having it but once I showed him his ad online that DMV Paper was optional then he had no problem helping me out. I gave him a 5 dollar tip.

Good service for the pump but 2 fill up propane tank was hard 4 me 2 do only 1 person knows how 2 do it and if you miss his shift no1 can help you 2 fill up your cylinder

DO NOT GET YOUR SMOG CHECK HERE. This ***hole will charge you more than the $30 coupon online. It says online the price of smog check for "smog check Out of State" is $27.95. When my wife got there she texted me saying he was charging her $60. I called him and asked him what the f*** he was doing and where in writing that's the price (especially since I called the morning of and he said it's $39... we found the coupon after). He responded the coupon is only good for California vehicles (again... it literally says the coupon is for out of state testing above the 'get coupon' button). THEN he had the nerve to say he can do whatever he wants "as a business owner". I told him he's making whatever price he wants (which is absolutely illegal) and that he's going to be losing a s*** ton of business by doing this (we have a ton of cars that need smog testing and are also moving to the area so he could have made some repeat customers). He said he will "give a discount of $40 this time". Definitely AVOID this business as it's operated by a dishonest man.

This is more for the smog guy. I've come here about three times since living in Arcadia and hes always been super nice. Always gets me out in less than 45 min if not quicker. Thank you.
