I been knowing about this store way back and I still shop there for my modelo beer I had to talk to them about the beer wasn't cold like it needs to be been in Monrovia when my pops first came here in the 1940s my mom pop's my grandfather he was in San Gabriel working on a big ranch 1920s his boss bought him a car model t he told her he would drive San Gabriel to Irwindale California just some history tor you freddyLugo Monrovia

Al's Liquor is probably the last BEST lil' convenient 'Corner Store' in town. I knew Al, the original owner, since my 'Santa Fe Jr. High days, back in the 80's, great guy & still, a great lil' liquor store.!Al's Liquor now, is under new owner/management, and is doing good.

Small store your basic corner liquor store. It is under new management and has picked up its game greatly recently. It used to be out of every thing but now keeps it shelves stocked and the new owner is always willing to get items on request.

Friendly, affordable, did the job. I was able to get my Mike's HARDer lemonade. Prices were decent, selection a o.k. Parking was weird and drug addicts hung out Criss crossing their tiny lot. I mean c-mon, what does one expect at a bodega?
