The doctors there were very caring for my dog. The front staff were always welcoming and friendly. They offered me multiple different paths to go for the last months of my dogs life. I wouldn’t consider getting this tho for a senior dog since most services needed for a senior dog aren’t covered in this plan. It’s great for guidance but the money isn’t really worth spending. However the reason I’m giving the company, Banfield, three stars is because of how the contract really binds you. I lost my dog recently to cancer and I called to cancel the membership because obviously my dog will not be using it since she is no longer present with us. They told me I can only cancel the membership from being renewed but that I have to pay the remaining balance. I thought that a pet passing away would be an exception, but the company, not the staff at this location, has no empathy and are more focused on collecting the money from the services that are not being used due to my dog being dead. Main point of this vent is READ THE CONTRACT! Don’t get banfield for senior dogs in their last months because you’ll be stuck with however months left in the plan.

They offer the optimum wellness plan. It’s a good alternative if you are strapped for cash and or don’t want to pay all upfront. But you will be locked in a contract for a year.

The Dr was very friendly, she took her time explaining things to me. We had to leave our dog for a few hours, this is the difference to this location. I did not get to see where the animals are kept during the time away from me so I can't say anything about this. The difference in meds to OC is about $60 for the same meds, as I reviewed the invoices and compared.

I made an appointment via the Banfield app and received a confirmation email for my pet’s scheduled visit. When I arrived for my appointment today, the front desk told me they did not have my appointment in their system. I showed them my confirmation email, but they could not help me. Front desk was dismissive and did not seem to care about my situation. Being a Banfield member for 8 years I never experienced this level of customer service. I left feeling extremely frustrated, and sadly my pet not getting their necessary care.

They were very friendly even though my nervous husky bit them. Throughout the appointment my dog needed vaccines and blood draws so they gave him treats to distract him. Worked very well. Needed a quick follow up appointment and Jasmine made it happen. Jasmine even called me back with better options when she could tell I wasn’t completely satisfied the first time. We signed up for the wellness plan and so far we are very happy with that choice.

I feel like a lot of Vets got super comfortable since COVID. No longer are the days where you can make an appointment and be present when the Vet conducts a physical. Made an appointment for today at 9 am (mind you I scheduled this appointment weeks ago) just for vaccines and a physical. I told them both when I made the appointment and when I dropped her off that I needed her to be done by noon so I could get ready for work. I showed up 20 mins past noon, they still hadn't called me yet and my pet had not been seen. Which means she's been sitting in a kennel for 3 hours for no good reason. I told them give my pet her vaccines and let me take her home and they bargained that they'd get it done in 25 mins so here I am sitting and waiting, wasting my time.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE! They have no concern for your animals well being. So very disappointed and I tried 4 times. Today was the last straw. I took both my dogs in at 12:00 for a wellness check and to check an abscess on his side. I called at 4:00 an was told the Vet hadn't seen them yet. I called again at 5:45 very upset and no one called me, they let my dogs sit in a cage for 6 hours and abscess wasn't checked. Six hours with no food, water or bathroom breaks, I never ever had done something like this. My first visit was where I should've just walked away because they lost my rescue dogs entire folder from his surrender, shelter foster and adoption with pictures. All they said was they have no idea what happened to it. The second time I tried to get my sick puppy Gypsie (who they saw today) in and told them she might die, they refused me and would not accept her, even tho my rescue was already a patient. I ended up taking her to Duarte-Azusa where they saved her life. AND that is where I am headed back to is Duarte-Azusa Animal hospital. Even tho the wellness is a good thing, the way they treated my dogs today was total abusive. How are you going to leave a dog in a cage for six hours. Unreal!

In 2022, Banfield cleaned my older dog's teeth. Lily had infection in her jaw bone, as well as teeth. They removed the bad teeth and stopped the infection in the jaw. Her mouth was no longer a problem.

Dr. Garcia and staff are fantastic! They are caring, and it's obvious they know what they're doing. Will definitely come here again!

The staff is so honest and nice here. I took my cat for some blood work and they were honest about what was recommended and didn't try to Increase the cost of my bill. The vet called me with in 2 hours and gave me a very detailed breakdown of the results and was very sweet and understanding when i had a lot of questions. I will be coming back. 5/5 recommend!

Never take your pet to this hospital. They claim they care for their emotional well being hit all they do they emotionally abuse the animals. I called to make an appointment for a simple vaccination and I was told that I have to drop my dog off and pick her up after 3-4 hours. FOR ONE VACCINE THAT WILL TAKE LESS THAN 10 minutes. Put the animals in the cages and have them anxiously wait until their time comes ? What is it an execution???????? Seriously????? If that is not a torture and an animal emotional abuse I don't know what is. This is very inhumane. Unethical and unprofessional. You have to minimize discomfort and pain ( including emotional) not to increase it. Stay as far as you can and please go ahead and read all the 1 star reviews so you will have an idea what you will get your pet into.

Never take your animals to this hospital. They will take your money and not provide an adequate, caring response of solution for your animals. I provided a complaint which was promptly ignored by someone who replies to emails as Morgan Taylor Rakocevic. This person couldn't verify an exam had taken place, offered no means to ensure my animal would obtain a better health outcome, and didn't honor my request for a refund. Instead this person said "I will send you a letter." Which never came. So their response is to deny service and then lie. My animals is still suffering from The same condition two weeks after the "exam" and their staff let an animal run loose in the hospital/store area where it could have been attacked.
