“We came here in Feb to take a passport for our 6-year-old. Johnny and the lady were very friendly. The price was reasonable. Johnny edited and processed the photo right away and we got the photo on the spot. An interesting follow-up story: When we submitted the passport application at a post office, the postal clerks said the head looked a bit small on the photo. While they accepted the photo, they also said that if any issues arose, we would receive a letter and have a chance to re-submit the photo. However, the application was processed without any issues and we already received the new passport without delays. Honestly, I wasn’t surprised because I saw how Johnny edited the photo with care. He knew what he was doing. If you need your passport photo fast and compliant, I highly recommend this place. I also recommend you call first to set up a time before you go. Good luck!”
“Connie made quick alterations for me in the few weeks right before my wedding. I didn't need much work done, but had a lot of issues with sizing for my dress which was made elsewhere in Orange County. So I was a bit anxious to get my dress to fit in time for my wedding and I didn't want to deal with driving up and down from OC again. I found Connie through Yelp and decided to trust her. She quickly made the alterations, was prompt in communications, which was so important for me since my wedding was literally under a month, and got the dress to fit beautifully. Pricing was fair too. She was very patient and kind. Highly recommend!”

“Lara was amazing to work with! Lara was on the list of recommended vendors for alterations from my bridal shop Lorien Bridal, and I am so happy to have chosen Lara to work with. She was open, easy to talk to, and very knowledgable. We were meant to have 3 appointments, but at what was meant to be the third and final appointment, we noticed that the dress' top required some additional structure and boning. With two weeks out to the wedding, I was nervous about this not being done in time, but within a week, my dress was ready! Not only that but her pricing was really fair, and my final quote ended up being less than what I was originally quoted!I received so many compliments and so many remarks on how the dress highlighted my body perfectly. I know that wouldn't have been the case without Lara: she helped create my dream dress! I would recommend her to all!”

“I was in dire need of a bridesmaid dress as the one I ordered off of Amazon was not the best. I was told about Esme's Essentials by a friend and am so glad because it was a wonderful experience. Right off the bat you get greeted by friendly faces and a plethora of dresses to choose from. The owner is incredibly kind and knowledgeable and found me a beautiful dress within 30 minutes. She then had the dress in the right color and size ready the next day and even steamed it for me. 10/10 would definitely recommend this place whether you're looking for bridesmaid dresses, quincanera, or any type of celebration.”

“I went here to try bridal dresses on. I had to make an appointment. Irene was really helpful and attentive. She helped me ultimately pick out a dress. The total price including alterations was under $800, but that was also b/c mine was not a white bridal gown but rather another style with pink. Esther the seamstress was also really helpful & attentive with figuring out the alterations. Most of all, we planned the wedding ceremony within 2 weeks, and they were able to get the dress ready within 1 week and 1 day. Great experience, and I would recommend!”

“My cousin reffered me to this place and told me to check it out. I gave them a last minute call after being done shopping at another store and the lady was able to take me in last minute. I met Kandee when I got there. She was very accommodating and helpful. She helped me select the styles that would look good on me and there are various dresses there for rental. So if you're looking for rental that's within decent prices, this is the place to go to. If you decide to rent the dress there, they also offer many good deals and cleaning fee is included so that's something you don't need to worry about. Overall, great service and great selection.”

“Helen is incredibly gifted and the QUEEN of qi paos. She has been in this business for a long time and her beautiful work shows it! She was so sweet and kind to me and my husband. She made us feel like family!! We designed my qipao together. I explained to her what style I wanted and she took my vision and created the most BEAUTIFUL dress! It is completely custom and fit perfectly to my body shape. We chose the fabric for my husband’s magua and she customized it to his style as well. Not only was her service incredible but the qipao and magua are amazing quality! I was soo comfortable the whole night and so was my husband. The silk she uses is beautiful, luxurious quality! “Hi! this store is still OPEN and just moved to 2550 EAST AMAR RD. SUITE A6 WEST COVINA by Salo-Salo Grill. I just spoke to Mr. Sonny at 3:50 pm 6/5/22. The store hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 12-7 pm and Sunday from 12-5 pm. Closed on Monday! I ALWAYS get my Barong Tagalog/Filipiniana dresses here except the gown (sorry)! Mr. Sonny and Mrs. Lilibeth are very nice and friendly! Great Customer Service! Recommended to all my friends!”

“I had a great experience here. The ladies were very friendly and were able to do alterations for my dress that same day (it was a simple black dress that only needed a hem but still, most places still make you wait several days and even weeks for plain dresses). I like that the price of alterations is included and the dresses are reasonably priced to begin with. They had a pretty decent collection in store, even more options than what you see on display and of course they can order more.”
