It's no wonder that this city branch has such a low star. Value the management within this branch does not even qualify to sell. Used shoes at a swap meet. The management of this branch is easily intimidated by Individuals with stronger attitudes and more demanding attitudes. They do not Protect your investments or your money. I was the sign of my father's account who passed away a little over a year ago. They allowed my sister to go in there and have my father's sign who had dimension alzheimer's, allowing her to close the account and renamed Solely in her name, the management team there a girl that will just call Bernie and another one that will call yo, who has since then been transferred to the Glendora office of Citibank claim they had called me to let me know that she was in the branch doing that they are liars they. Never called me this issue has never gone resolved over $18000 was lost that day so if you have money invested within this city bank branch. I would suggest you move it somewhere else. Where they are more professional? Because at this branch as a former employee of this city bank branch when it was California federal. I am disgusted by the customer service that they provide there. I have since then found. Doubt that I am not the only family that's being treated like this by this uncouth bunch of management. Nobody said they haven't there now. The McDonald family is another one here in the city of Dubai. And I want you out to take note how city bank will not reply to this review because they know they are wrong. We have subpoena records on my father's account for years now, and they have never supplied one issue of a paperwork on the statements or the transactions on the account. And my mother's account is well the manager that's there. Currently, miss Bernie is a hot mess.

Very rude service. They accused me of attempted money laundry because I tried to exchange $40 dollars for quarters. The clerk was hostile and multiple employees including a manager ganged up on while I was confused and attempting to get clarification.

Very careless branch, all smiles no help at all. Love giving the run around. More careless answers and lies then honest answers. Half the time they dont know the honest correct answers to my question or give misleading information and quick meaningless answers to get you out of there.

Shawn Spencer is by far the best banking representative I have ever dealt with. Went in to complete a wire transfer and she was more than helpful. Shawn took the time to explain the process and how we can complete the transfer with security in mind. What an outstanding personality and just the kindest person ever. Great to have someone like this in our small town that's growing so fast. Thanks again Shawn!

Wow. Can't cash a check in the bank. Unbelievable. This branch has decided because they don't get a lot of customers in there that don't have citi accounts that they won't cash a check for you written out to you personally from a citibank customer. Why? This makes no sense. I have a check that I have to go to another branch 10 miles away if I want to cash it. This is a fully operative, full-service working branch. I should be able to cash a check.

Do not bank at this Citibank branch as a former employee of this office, also with a mother and father who have had accounts with this office since 1971 I will never ever bank with Citibank ever again not only did they give my father's entire life savings to a woman his daughter who was not a signer on the account they claimed to have called me (signer number two)and let me know which is a flat out lie I was the only signer on that account the branch manager here will just call her Bernie because she's not professional enough for me to State her full name And assistant manager whom since this incident hasbeen transferred to the glendora office of Citibank these two women are the most unprofessional most uncouth women I've ever met not only did they send adult protective services to my house they wouldn't tell me a thing about what had happened to my father's money!!! these women were easily dominated by my sister who is an alpha female.. just took place on June 9th 2016 and since then Citibank has not responded to anything they will not give me copies claiming I have to subpoena the transactions. At the time you cows closed my father was allowed to sign them knowing and you being a fact that he was suffering from dementia and memory loss they then close the account 11 message to to reopen an account as a representative for my father she didn't removed all beneficiaries as welland a ladder to remove all beneficiaries placing herself asa representative for my fathers savings, this is the most disgusting thing that has ever happened to me in my entire life I've just found out that they're doing the a good friend of our family who lives here in the city of Monrovia as well so if you got any money you want to have later on in life I would suggest you take it out of this branch office. The two so-called manager and branch manager of this office don't even qualify to sell used shoes at a swap meet let alone manage individuals finances you both disgust me and should be ashamed of yourselves my father is 83 years old has since then been placed in assisted living and they allowed her to do the same thing to my mother although I caught it in time, to this day Bernie Castillo claims my mother gave her the account number my mom is 83 legally blind and a DBL cancer survivor , if you do not believe what you've just red I would suggest the next time that you are in this branch office to ask Miss Bernie Castillo about the situation with the Duarte family and the McDonald family, and make sure to study the looks on their faces, classic deets caught in headlights, morons!!

Apparently they DO NOT CASH Citibank checks if you are not a Citibank account holder. At least that's what the girl at the front (rudely) hinted at me. My mother's business banks with Citibank (and Chase as of a month ago as well, thank God) I tend to just cash any CB paychecks my mom issues me bc their holding deposit time is always so long. I hadn't noticed my mom issued me a Chase check this month and took it inside CB to have it cashed. The girl at the counter notified me it was a Chase check and then added .. "besides even if this was a CB check, we don't cash checks if you're not an account holder" I not only felt stupid because of my d*** gaffe but because I felt like she was assuming I was trying to play her with a fraudulent check. So you don't cash any checks of your own bank with proper proof of ID and a fee? Okay sure Jan. Oh and they're closed on Saturdays. Chase is opened until 4pm. Get it together y'all. No wonder CB is slowly fading away.

Opens at 10. Tellers arrive at 10. Take 10 minutes to get their system up while there are 7+ customers in line. Including me with a toddler. One teller opens and takes a customer. Realizes that her system is still not up. Other teller still not open. 10-15 minutes later manager walks by the long line to tell us they are having trouble and she can take a manual deposit and give a written receipt. Why don't the tellers arrive earlier so that customers can be helped at 10? I just went through a 3 week nightmare where their atm took my cash and didn't deposit it. I had to raise actual heck to have them issue a "provisional credit"... it took them 18 days to credit cash that I deposited into an atm. There was no way I was leaving a "manual deposit". Basically done with this bank.

I see why this place has 2 stars. I've been waiting almost 30 minutes to see someone about a credit card and apparently there is only ONE person that can help me with that? Really?...still waiting...tbc

I don't like going into the bank I prefer handling problems over the phone. I had a debit dispute call today 2 x and waited 15 mins? Voice response states heavy call volume? Well you should staff too your needs. So now I have to go into the bank
