I initially started working with Alex Zendejas because I was bored of my personal workouts and I was worried about my shoulder issues. I have dislocated both of my shoulders multiple times in sports injuries...and I lived with the fear that I would injure my shoulder(s) again accidentally. Alex stepped in with a mix of expertise and confidence and immediately started working with me on strengthening my shoulders. In the process of doing this--I realized how gifted Alex is as a personal trainer. He is knowledgeable about the body and how to use exercise and eating plans to make personal goals a reality. If you are looking for a trainer who will walk alongside you, support you, and help you do more than you thought you could do...I would absolutely recommend Alex. I got stronger. I lost weight. I actually forgot my shoulder issues, b/c they had been strengthened. And I grew in confidence that I can walk into a gym and know what to do. Trust me. I've been coming to this gym for years and training with trainer Alex. He is a great and has been accommodating of my busy schedule and our early morning work outs. I have known Alex for years but did not begin to train with him until I moved to the SGV and it is a decision I do not regret. The gym itself has a lot of equipment and it is well maintained. The gym is clean and there is cleaning supplies in various places to wipe off any equipment that you use with your trainer. With the large variety of equipment I tend to do different workouts each time I come in, since there is a lot of equipment to choose from. There is also free parking. I always feel better about myself and how I spent my morning as I leave this gym.

I let Helen know what I was looking for: someone to push me, help put back on muscle mass, and especially shoring up my posterior muscles. She came up with an outline of how we’d accomplish this and pushed me to work out to my limits… like my old high school coaches used to do. Knowledgeable, attentive, and will leave you feeling healthier coming out of the gym!

I let Helen know what I was looking for: someone to push me, help put back on muscle mass, and especially shoring up my posterior muscles. She came up with an outline of how we'd accomplish this and pushed me to work out to my limits... like my old high school coaches used to do. Knowledgeable, attentive, and will leave you feeling healthier coming out of the gym!

Love working out with my man Darren and Tony. It caters to anyone doesn't matter if you are a d1 athlete or someone just trying to get in shape. All trainers there will make you feel comfortable and will accommodate everyone to whatever they want to do.

Foothill Physique is an awesome gym, I've worked with Tony for over a year now and I always look forward to my workout with him. Everyone at the gym is super friendly and Tony is great at personalizing your training to your needs. Since Covid, they've been very careful with the equipment and everything is being disinfected and wiped down constantly which helped ease my concerns about coming back after they reopened.

Foothill Physique is the gym I always compare other places to now because of how great of an experience I had there. I recently moved to the east coast but whenever i am back in LA, I know I will have to stop in! they are an awesome gym that has everything you could want and for a smaller gym, they really make great use of the space. it's private so you can only be in there if you are working out with a trainer, and they enforce wearing masks and distancing which has helped me feel comfortable working out during covid. I train with tony for weight training and eric for boxing. both are amazing trainers that have lots of experience and were able to personalize my training to meet my fitness goals. I always look forward to my workouts because they know how to switch things up and make working out fun!!
