This seems to be a well stocked Home Depot with full nursery etc. Outside area has a good selection of garden sheds as well. Updated Custer service area that makes things easier to deal with. Pretty good store.

I had a Terrific purchasing experience today at this particular Home Depot & I wanted to share it with everybody. I was in the market of adding another tool chest to my garage and decided to swing over to Home Depot to see if they had this particular model in stock. Their online purchase orders had the tool chest but indicated that none of the Home Depo's in my area had it available and could only be ordered.I decided to walk in to the Monrovia, CA Home Depot and right from the jump, I was greeted as I entered the building and asked if I needed help finding anything. I was given the direction that I was looking for in order to find the tool chest/box area, and low and behold...Home Depot online said they had "0" in stock....but....I found the $998 tool box I was looking for!!! Well, the downhill started here before it got super better.....I 1st couldn't believe that the tool box had a price -$200 less than what was advertised...my mama didn't raise a fool, so I snatched it and practically ran with it to the cashier to pay for it. As the young lady assisted with scanning my item, she noticed that the picture looked completely different than what I had rolled out to the cashier. Nonetheless, she skipped that part and entered the sku manually, (I too thought it was just a system error). (remember this because I'll be revisiting this issue.)The young cashier asked someone to help me load it onto my truck as I rolled the item outside, but then when the loading laborer and his assistant noticed this box probably weighed about 700 pounds, they hesitated. One, they mentioned that the forklift needed to be charged. Two, they didn't want to damage my truck nor the item. Three, another forklift certified driver said he could but wouldn't guarantee that the item wouldn't damage my truck but could get it on my truck. (Sounded like he was just wanting to load it but not worry nor be held accountable to the personal damages to my vehicle if he promised he could load it.) At this point you could already understand my "starting to feel frustrated" with the purchase. "Forget this!"...I'd rather go to Costco at this point and find one that someone professional could load for me. Well before I let my frustrations get the better part of me, I asked to speak to a Manager. The employees said that the Store Manager wasn't in but that the Assistant was and if that was ok....? "Sure!" ( I thought.) I honestly just needed to speak to someone else that seemed like they had more common sense in what they were doing and needed a solution to remedy my (now) frustrated and confused self. This is when I met Javier Velasquez (the assistant Manager on duty)...Not only did he help calm me down but offered for us to look at a delivery option for a later time. This solution didn't take solving a mathematical equation, yes simple but also took the stress off of me to unload it once I got home. What impressed me was that after looking at the next available date for delivery, Jasmine (the shift leader) noticed that the item sold was not the correct sku. Some brainy act decided to slap the wrong sticker on the item and the wrong price. In order to correct the price difference, they had to return the item and resell it at its original price. At 1st I thought..."well ohh sh$t!!!" This was definitely too good to be true now!!!After all, I did find what I wanted after their site said 0 in stock and don't forget that the item was posted on sale by mistake when they assembled it to demo out on the floor. Javier, asked Jasmine to honor the price I paid and also honored free delivery as an apology for not being able to load it for me. Wow!!! Did not expect that!!!! What was amazing about this experience wasn't the price, it was the fact that Javier was calm about everything and assured me they would find a solution!! He made this experience better with the way he genuinely cared about finding a way to make this price error right. Thank you Javier & Jasmi

Plenty of parking!The employees were SUPER helpful to me! I needed 3 big moving boxes (24x44) and couldn't reach them on the high shelf. The employee I stopped who happened to pass by, helped me at my request immediately and even helped me find boxes that weren't dented.When I got to the checkout lane, the employee there was even more helpful! She asked if I had a cart (cause I was obviously struggling to carry them all) and I stated I didn't plan ahead. She was so sweet and went to get me a cart! Seriously, such great customer service!! And the pictures I posted are from the parking lot. Great view of the San Gabriel mountains :0)

By far the worst service I have every gotten from Home Depot. The employees here are not knowledgeable at all and aren't even motivated to try and help. The guy I asked told me to wait and started stacking shelves. He didn't even get on the PA to ask for help, until he was done. The help never came and I had to ask again but provide them with the bolt dimensions. It was like pulling teeth to get them to search in their system, and the best part is the same guy didn't provide me the aisle or bay location for the bolt. Just stared blankly at the screen and called for nonexistent help on the phone again. When I approached another person for help, the guy said he was busy and brushed me off. All the employees were bunched up at the front chatting away and barely any in the aisles.

I was at this store and asked for a price match at the checkout. An employee said, " I don't think we do price match," so asked the other guy and he said, " we don't do price match with Amazon." Their price match policy on their website says they do price match with any other retailer. I regret I should've shopped at Amazon. I didn't have to waste my time driving there and paying a higher price if I shopped on Amazon.

Thank you, Greg! My husband and I went to the appliance department and felt well taken care of by Greg. He was very patient and knowledgeable about the whole selection and purchasing process. We are so appreciative of his expertise and professionalism. Highly recommend asking for him!

My experience in the garden department was amazing. I was completely clueless on how to care for my plant and brought it in. I was immediately greeted by an employee who offered to help me. He took the time to explain what was going on and how to care for my plant. He showed me options of what I could do and took the time to answer all my questions. He truly made my day and went the extra mile to help me. Thank you.

I was at home depo today for my Sunday project, was extremely disappointed, my wife and son bough a ton of items and we needed a chain to lock an item we have at home. I picked one that was perfect and I got 6 feet, price advertised was perfect for me. The employee wrote down the price and gave me the paper. As I start to pay for my items the girl charges me $0.97 cents more per foot. They refused go give me the price tags was posted on the item. Gave me suck a hard time, employees are so damn rude. Paying the added amount was not the issue the problem is respecting what you advertised. Stephanie cashier was not the problem the manager who came along with her well set attitude was the issue. Be nice and figure out how to honor what the company offers. I told her I would leave the chain and take everything else. Well she handed me the chain for me to put it back .! I'm sorry seriously rudest thing that has ever happened to me. Never returning to home depo . Lowes hands down better everything, you pay for the serve and not running after a employee to help you. Just all around bad day.

Sorry to be the devil's advocate but we had a bad experience with the Plant department. Only the plant department. I'm sure the other departments and personnel are probably very professional. We encountered a couple of plant Nazi's that were rude and uncooperative. I guess what I'm saying is don't expect friendly or professional service. Enough said.

I just had to do this review because their bathrooms are immaculate. I didn't take a photo because other people were around and I didn't want to be the weirdo taking photos in a public restroom. Literally it smelled clean, the floors looked almost new, everything was stocked (soap, towels, toilet paper). If you're in the area and need a pit stop I would highly recommend this restroom!
