I was at home depo today for my Sunday project, was extremely disappointed, my wife and son bough a ton of items and we needed a chain to lock an item we have at home. I picked one that was perfect and I got 6 feet, price advertised was perfect for me. The employee wrote down the price and gave me the paper. As I start to pay for my items the girl charges me $0.97 cents more per foot. They refused go give me the price tags was posted on the item. Gave me suck a hard time, employees are so damn rude. Paying the added amount was not the issue the problem is respecting what you advertised. Stephanie cashier was not the problem the manager who came along with her well set attitude was the issue. Be nice and figure out how to honor what the company offers. I told her I would leave the chain and take everything else. Well she handed me the chain for me to put it back .! I'm sorry seriously rudest thing that has ever happened to me. Never returning to home depo . Lowes hands down better everything, you pay for the serve and not running after a employee to help you. Just all around bad day.

Sorry to be the devil's advocate but we had a bad experience with the Plant department. Only the plant department. I'm sure the other departments and personnel are probably very professional. We encountered a couple of plant Nazi's that were rude and uncooperative. I guess what I'm saying is don't expect friendly or professional service. Enough said.

I just had to do this review because their bathrooms are immaculate. I didn't take a photo because other people were around and I didn't want to be the weirdo taking photos in a public restroom. Literally it smelled clean, the floors looked almost new, everything was stocked (soap, towels, toilet paper). If you're in the area and need a pit stop I would highly recommend this restroom!

A lot of wonderful folks who provide wonderful service work here. They carry more various soil brands to choose from than Armstrong Garden Centers. This place has everything you need for projects. I did see an elderly person stop a worker for help (a short guy with dark hair) & the kid just held his right index finger up to shush him because he was trying to look too busy to help a customer with some device in his hand & then he went on his way walking at even more quickly a pace...I guess if you wanna pretend you're too busy you gotta walk fast. This worker was the only anomaly from everyone else there. It's by the freeway and Metro so beware the businesses around the plazas here have Metro stragglers hanging about the parking lot, approaching you to put your cart back and ask for money. Very sad homeless/drug addict/mental health situations around these plazas of people sitting out with all they own/a bike they rode off the metro with nowhere to go just posting up in the parking lot with their face in their hands.

I recently bought 3 different sets of tiles online for a bathroom remodel. Have them shipped to the store to pick up. Tile A: came pretty quickly, but the wrong tiles were given to me, I had to exchange them for what I ordered. Tile B: I ordered 43 sheets of mosaic tiles, 21 sheets came, and no one from Home Depot can tell me where are the the other 22 sheets. Tile C: this was the worst. Tile C was incorrectly coded in the system as a completed order. I never received them. Subsequently, the order literally disappeared from my Home Depot App where I made the purchase. Again, no one at the store or online can tell me where they are except that they are in transit with an expected delivery date January 17th. Today is the 21st. I don't have the tiles. By the way, it coded as a completed order as January 13th, on January 12th on the Home Depot app. A week later it just vanished, not as a completed order, which was incorrect! I have been back at the store 4 times and each time has been given a run around. I have to explain everything over and over. Yesterday I was told to call the online purchase customer service by the store customer service supervisor; except, unbeknownst to her, I had contacted the online customer service center and was told someone from the store would call me back. Twice when I went to the store I was told the supervisor was at lunch (at 3:30 in the afternoon and she had just walked by me while I was waiting in line) or unavailable to me, but strangely enough somehow they were able to find her on the phone. I was also told by the supervisor once over the phone that she couldn't be reached directly by phone because her work cell phone was 'broken'. Finally, i had to ask the supervisor at Home Depot to call the vendor to check if the missing items were shipped. Really, I need to tell her to do that? This has been the worst customer service experience ever. While All the customer service people have been 'polite', they are poorly trained and they will do anything to get you out of their way. No meaningful follow through.

Rally appreciated the great customer service by PATRICK in the Millworks department today! I called today with a list of questions about three doors that I want to purchase. He took the time to not only check stock and availability, but he answered several questions I had about the products. At this busy time of year, he went above and beyond today, Great job, Patrick!

COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing some supplies from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment unless it's a service animal. Service animals are allowed. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is tremendous. Lots of parking spots available for you to choose from. Parking spots are also decent in size. Not too big or too small. This is like the fourth Home Depot that I went to to try to find the supplies that I needed to renovate my bathroom. The store itself is very organized, neat, clean, and tidy. Everything is placed in a way that makes sense and easy to find. The bathrooms are also very clean too. Staff: The staff here are very helpful, informative, and kind. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

This Home Depot has the worst old lady at the self checkout area, she is rude! She social profiles people and kept starring at people and made me very uncomfortable! Her name was cristina and she was an older Latin lady with glasses. If you get her run the other way! It's called self checkout for a reason , I do not want some worker bugging me. She was not helpful but rather pushy and honestly racist. She came up to me and kept insisting I need her help when I did not. She did not do the same thing to other customers. Home Depot should hire better workers that aren't racist jerks!

Can someone please tell them to step into the 21st century and get Samsung and Apple pay?! They've got to be the only modern business who only receives cash or credit card. What's up with that?! They have these brand new card machines that don't take Apple pay nor Samsung pay. Frankly I bet they got bamboozled! Someone sold them a batch of new card machines that were inexpensive, and they didn't realize it was because they did not have the latest technology embedded in them. Come on Home Depot! Get it together!

If it wasn't for the paint guy I would of shrugged off this visit as typical Home Depot with lots of characters and employees but I was disrespected and a man was sexist, irritable and refused to accommodate me for five minutes without letting me know he was pissed. He was extremely condescending. He made me feel stupid and rushed. I have 20+ years of experience with consumer psychology and marketing and I can tell the guy was being completely j*** to me. He refused to try to match my sample. He did one but apparently the rest were too small so he began to mansplain to me instead of trying to see if my paint chips would work in his matching scanner. When I asked about maybe I can match it myself he ran off. Didn't help. How about offering a solution and stop wasting time harassing customers you don't like and spend less time getting stuff done and being a good person. I had a three year old with me so it was stressful for the customer first and he should not have treated me that way. Did I mention I am a designer and work with color theory. He should not be helping people in paint. That takes patience and customer care. Not irritability and intolerance. He was definitely taking it out on me and wearing his mask under his nose like he could care less. My son is unvaccinated cuz of his age and it's the mandate at this time. My husband showed up after me and I refused to pick up the paint cuz I was treated so obviously bad I felt uncomfortable going back. While my husband did that, I went to grab a door handle plate. I looked forever on the right aisle and finally asked three guys who were standing on a ladder opening talking sh!t on the employee, a female, who worked the night before. The other two guys were just listening and doing nothing. He almost dropped a huge box of metal handles on me from the very top (approx 12 feet or so). They did not close the aisle but I saw the fence there. It landed two feet from me. With the combo of talking poorly on their employee with retaliation and wanting to get someone in trouble, ignoring a customer's safety and probably HDs policy as well, and interrupting me to talk s*** more to his coworkers (Also not wearing a mask properly) then throwing boxes unsafely from the top like that, is setting you up for a lawsuit! I'm giving 1 star for the website, ordering and will call. And 1 star for the garden center checkout, one lady was very pleasant to my son and another was genuinely nice and taking about the plants. Lastly, a young man helped my husband load mulch. We have spent $30k+ in the last couple years. I'm so disappointed. I get COVID is causing problems but even a manager somehow lost her customer care sensitivity and was super rude and interrupted my transaction at customer service for will call. Like I said, I get employees are struggling, lack of personnel is an issue, and people don't like the masks. But, discriminating service, ignoring safety and treating me different than the guy next to me is a problem!! I won't go back again unless it's garden only. Those are serious concerns for me and reasons why so many people are moving to ordering online or will call only. I can't believe most of the employees I encountered have no training on the slightest professionalism and customer service and are getting away with it. PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR EMPLOYEES AND HOW THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS. Visit was 7/24/2021 around 1-2pm. Thank you! Pro Loyalty Home Depot Member (Been 100 times and not one complaint until now)

Store was clean. Seemed like they had plenty of staff. But the guy who helped me with my purchase of some vertical blinds couldn't understand me.Only one window. I wanted the head rail cut to fit my window. I wanted to mount it outside the window opening and he couldn't understand what that means.I kept telling him the actual window opening and was asking him how much extra I should make the headrail to make sure the blinds blocked out the light and he was still trying to make the head rail fit the actual window opening.I finally have up and just added 5 inches.I also wanted two different colored blinds. A light and slightly darker look.So he is telling me how many blinds I need, and im telling him to split that amount by two, and round up to to the actual package. If I needed 5 packs of blinds, then give me 3 packs of each color.Again he was telling me I only need 5 packs, and if I wanted another color then I would need 5 packs of the other color.I finally just said, give me 3 packs of each color and if I needed more then I'll come back.He then cuts everything and I load it into the cart. Get to the cashier, and the first pack she grabs has no SKU.. I then notice he cut and have me the bottom of the blinds. No hole.I then go back to find him and he is telling me that's what I wanted. I said no. Why would I want blinds that I can't hang.I'm not getting mad. But I definitely don't trust him anymore. He is telling me I can drill the holes. And im saying nope.He then just grabs 3 more packs and is measuring. And im over his shoulder to make sure he measured twice and cuts once.Tl/drI think he he was confused by my wanting two different colors on the same window. I'm thinking he is picturing the two different color would be on one slat. As if I would glue or attach the slats so one color would be on top and the other color would be on the bottom.
