OMG the food here was super delicious and the sauce was the bomb. This spot really didn’t disappoint. I had tamales too, and my tastebuds were extremely satisfied. Highly recommend this place..

Service is great, it's managed by owners they are great kind people. Got the chicken milanesa torta, the chicken was a bit overcooked but good. Will definitely be coming back to try the beef milanesa torta! Loved their hibiscus water.

Food good. Pretty darn expensive for a fast food place. Two burritos and one coke cost $26.85

I think the ownership changed. The lady working there doesn't speak or understand English so I couldn't ask any questions. The carne asada breakfast burrito was very bland. The green salsa was the same- bland, no flavor. Totally not worth paying $11 for the burrito. It was a waste of money. I won't be going back.

Did someone say spicy? Came by today during my car wash. So Cal is notorious for it's vibrant diverse food and one of the more famous foods (in my opinion) is Mexican food. I was craving some Mexican food during my car wash and spotted this location right next to the car wash location. I ordered a spicy burrito with carne asada. When the individual in the window gave me my food, he warned me it may be spicy. Boy, oh boy, this burrito was hot! They make their salsa w/Chile de Arbol and it will leave your mouth screaming for an extinguisher. My burrito was okay. It has a hefty amount of beans and rice but very little meat. The meat was a bit chewy (I aim for more tender asada) and the seasoning was also a bit lacking. The burrito was a 2.5/5. Overall, my experience was okay. The employees were kind and very helpful. I will definitely be coming back for other options in the menu. I will give this small restaurant a chance to win my trust the time I go back. All in all, I give this place a 3/5.

Shredded beef tacos with the spicy hot sauce was freaking amazing. Definitely gonna be back. Tacos were a bit pricy though.

Delicious tacos and burritos and decent pricing (for 2022 anyway). Fast and friendly service, though they do charge 50 cents for credit card usage. Everything was great, we're happy to have a solid taco place close to our home.

So the good; the staff is friendly. The bad, the food is mediocre/bad. I ordered the asada fries: soggy fries, mainly beans, bad guacamole... What can I say? Not worth it! Should have gone to Jack in the Box across the street.

In my Yelp tenure, I have reviewed many carwashes, and the one next door to Los Chiles Locos is no exception. If you're a fan of my reviews or just a casual clicker, you may as well know that I believe all SoCal carwashes have some Achilles Heel, some hubris, some tragic flaw that keeps them from being the ideal. As for the one with whom LCL shares this humble corner in Monrovia, that tragic flaw is that the superior job done on the wash takes FOR...EV....ER. Thus and thus, many a patron has found her/his way over to Los Chiles Locos to pass the time with food sublime. LCL is your classic old school taco shop. Over the years, this spot has had different names and owners, but it seems that the new management has embraced their place in the neighborhood and continue to serve up delicious Mexican fast food. I can't help but order several tacos and a big bean and cheese burrito, all washed down with a huge fountain Coke... darn near every time I visit. While the workers next door are taking an inexplicably long time beating the kid-dust out of my truck's floor mats, I sit down on the colorful old-school vinyl seats and maw. The folks behind the window always hook me up with a few extra hot sauces when I ask. I am El Gigante Picante, after all. Variably, the store has Taco Tuesday specials and other day-of-the-week promotions from time to time, all expertly marketed in window chalk or big signs on the store front. Honestly, I'd come here even without all that love. With a middle school across the street, there are some afternoons where you'll have a little adolescent company if you time it wrong, but overall, this is a great little local spot for those times you don't have a lot of time... or when you seem to have all the time in the world while they put yet another coat of something on your tires......
