“Best place to get thin meat and soup bases for hot pot at home! Owner speaks mandarin but items also have tags with names in English. Reasonable prices too. Highly recommend.”

“They have a large menu to choose from.I tried the Huevos Rancheros. And ordered a menudo. Honestly, the menudo had no flavor. My Grandson took one bite and was done. The huevos rancheros was a disappointment as well. No sauce on top of the eggs. There was only diced tomatoes. Also the beans & rice were cold!!”

“So I rarely leave reviews but felt that this place warranted one. I rarely eat pork if ever maybe once a year, with that said I go next door to this salon place but not for what you think. Was waiting and saw a lot of people coming and going at the meat place "LUPITA'S" next door, I'm always hesitant to try at those places but low and behold my mom who goes to the same beauty place was waiting and grabbed some carnitas and brought me some OMG that carnitas was soooo good, not greasy at all and hardly any fat, well my mom said you have to tell the man no GORDO Lmao. Aye my mom, I don't speak Spanish but I don't think that is the correct term in Spanish for FAT lol. Sooo I do recommend that anyone who is in the area grab carnitas, asada, or chicken. I hear it's all good and they have an "A" rating which is something I look for when buying or eating at an establishment. Ooh ooh forgot they even make food my mom said they make your burritos with fresh meat grab the raw asada and cook it and then make your burrito, yum! Talk about fresh, right!!”

“Fabulous little shop. My aunt lived in Glendora for years and fell in love with the Suzi Special. It is crave-able. She moved a few year ago and whenever I need to get her something special I know just the thing.Special shout out to Daniel who was immensely helpful with a small catering order. I appreciate you very much. Thank you!”

“Great selection of prime meats, fish, and poultry. The deli has some tasty salads and goodies as well. Market looks well kept and clean. Service is also a plus.Replying to comment. I saw the bakery in the front of the store but was afraid to go closer. Will definitely shop there again and give myself plenty of time to go up and down the isles. Kudos to you and your team!”

“Although it’s a 20 minute drive, Howie’s is worth the drive. We’ve found a bunch of food items not carried in the larger markets. The meat department is top notch in terms of quality and service. It’s a pleasure to shop at Howies”

“Excellent place for meats if you'd like to take home to cook Korean BBQ, hot pot, skewers, or steak. Great service and high quality selection of meat, including wagyu. For a party, don't forget to call ahead or come in a day in advance!INSIDE:You are greeted with a relatively small space, including a wall of enticing pictures of meat for sale. There are also selections available in the center to grab and go any additions like noodles, sauces, fuel cans, etc.SERVICE:Cashier was friendly and helpful. She understood our prompt: enough meat, including wagyu, for a hot pot at home for 10 people the next day. She recommended a combo that she assured us was enough and indeed it was, almost more than enough! She got our information down for the next day's pickup.FOOD:Excellent. Every cut was displayed beautifully and labeled clearly, with good thin slices for hot pot purposes and the wagyu really showed off the marbling. The wagyu was of course stunning, but the selections offered in the combo were unique as well including beef tongue. Everyone was impressed with the quality of the meat.Wonderful. Would definitely come again to try their other offerings or whenever our next hot pot party will be!”

“I get off work at 6am. This place was open and sold oatmeal. The cashier only knows Spanish. Which I think is awesome! She told me the oatmeal is sold in the back of the market. The cook gave me two oatmeals and I went to pay. It was only $5! There's also many other food options which I plan to try out. I will be coming back. The oatmeal was amazing. Especially if you like more of the "healthier" kind. I hardly tasted any sugar. It had a slightly milk taste. The oats where soft. There was a cinnamon stick inside. 8/10”

“I come here for the marinated chicken. I love how they marinate it. It is generally priced between $2-3lb. I sometimes see it on sale for $2, but this week it was $3. Still a good deal. Tasty and Perfect for the high protein diet. They have tons of spices and fresh produce as well as warm food like carnitas and more.”

There are other good sides that are vegetarian too. Desserts are generally vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free optionsKid-friendliness: Kids like most of the menu”

“It has been a while since I came to Larios Meat Market. I was craving tamales and champurrado, so it was the right time to go! The market is very clean. They have many options of marinated meat, either beef, pork, chicken or seafood. They have a section for ready made food to mention a few; tacos, Chile relleno, sope, tamales, quesadillas, nachos, burritos, torta and many more. The market has many sections for fresh produce, groceries, frozen food, drinks and even detergents. I ordered; - 2 champurrado, which were warm and thick chocolate-based delicious beverage. It's a must try! - 2 tamales. 1 chicken and 1 pork The masa was very flavorful and moist. The filling was the right proportion to masa. - 2 fish tacos. They were okay but not the best fish tacos I tried - 2 cabeza taco The cabeza was very flavorful and juicy - 2 al pastor tacos, they were really delicious. -1 Birria de res plate, comes with rice, beans and salad. The birria was spectacular, well- seasoned and very juicy. The parking lot is very limited, but you can park in the street or across the street in 99c plaza. The service was great and fast. The employees were very nice and friendly. It is a nice market to stop by and try their fresh food.”

“Los Toros Meat Market is a great neighborhood Meat Market (carniceria) with a little bit of everything in one small Market. Everyone is very helpful and patient. They have a hot food counter with a variety of specialty dishes. The butchers are very nice and helpful as well. They have a great selection of prepared meats ready to grill, to pan-fry, or just cook on the stove top for quick family dinner. They carry a variety of their own Los Toros Meat Market labeled seasonings, micheladas mixes, salsas, and more.On today's visit, we ordered a couple of pounds of aguachiles, which they didn't have any made but still went ahead and made us an order as we continued shopping till our order was done.Great service and a with smile.”

“They make their own tortillas and bake their own bread. they are both excellent. The meat quality here is outstanding. i always get their ranchera and costillas(prime) unmarinated because their meat quality is so good that it really only needs sea salt. I dont know what brand of beef they use for their prime short ribs but they tend to have much more marbling than other "prime" meat markets. but if you want premarinated meats, they are really good here too. they also have all the fancy wagyu beef cuts like ribeye, ranchera, tomahawks, picanha etc . Lastly, service is always top notch. If you are looking for a specific cut, just ask for it and they can cut it for you.”
