I recently visited Trish for a nail appointment, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. While she was friendly and enjoyed sharing stories, her attitude toward my requests left me uncomfortable. When I showed her a few designs I was interested in, she brushed them off and said it was “too early for a fall design,” which came across as dismissive and a bit snobby. As a customer, I expected my preferences to be respected, not minimized.
The quality of the service was also far below professional standards. At the very beginning, when she was removing the old gel design, she used the bur tool so aggressively that I felt a burning sensation from the friction. One of my nail beds is now bruised because of this, which should never happen during a professional manicure. The gel application that followed was no better — the cure buildup was crooked and uneven, with bulky, thick spots on several nails. She was not clean in her technique, and the overall finish looked sloppy and unpolished.
Nothing i can do but deal with it, i have to file my nails to make some pointy nails even to each other. The gel application on top of the gems are too thick. You can see some on the photos. The shape of my nails look weird on side profile.
Although she was personable, the combination of poor technique, lack of attention to detail, dismissive attitude, and physical discomfort made this a very unsatisfactory and unpleasant experience. I would not return and cannot recommend her services. I’m sorry.

Q Nails was the first salon I tried when I moved to California in 2012. It was conveniently located near my job and goodness I hit the jackpot!! Absolutely stellar service continually for 5 years. Unfortunately (for me) I got laid off and live in Rancho Cucamonga- so a drive to Monrovia every few weeks was difficult. I have tried literally 8 different salons out in the inland empire and NONE have come close to Q Nails. I make my way out to Trish as often as I can and my husband joins because he likes pedicures. I miss seeing Trish and Anna regularly but HIGHLY recommend Q Nails.

They're pretty good! Trish the owner does lashes as well as everything else. The girls all do a good job @ mani- pedi. Friendly environment.

Worse nail salon I been to. The older guy broke my nails. Then the lady came to “fix them” with an attitude. I will NEVER come back here.

I am a long time customer that became too familiar with the staff. One in particular started talking about me to others and making it very uncomfortable for me to continue to go there anymore. They don't clean any of the instruments. I saw them use it on two different clients. Also lousy nails they look like press ons. Never again!

This place was terrible, I don't understand how they have so many great reviews. My mani pedi was awful. We went two hours before closing and got sat down right away when there was only one other employee on the floor but sat in the massage chair for 30 min before someone came out of the back to start on me. As soon as they did they seemed rushed. More customers came in and they told them to have a seat and they would be with them soon, after another 40 min they told the one customer that waited "sorry were closing". Poor lady left confused. Save your money and go somewhere else.

They use to do an adequate job on my nails, for the price. But In March I went there before my cruise to get my nails done. They lasted four days before, one by one they began to pop off. I notice she was skipping steps when she was doing my nails, like the first one where you apply the sticky coat to adhere to the nail. I will not be returning, I was a loyal customer but the lower cost doesn't make up for the quality and the wearability that are substandard.
