It's ok; there is always a long wait time; nearly 200 dollars for an oil change and tire rotation is crazy to me. Watch out for their creative ways they tell you you need services you don't need.

The service and salespeople are great. There is no pressure to buy a car. But they answered ALL my questions about a new car. I just went in to get a routine oil change for my 2018 Chevy Cruze and left with a new Chevy Malibu. Luis was helpful as well as the managers and service staff which made my trade-in so smooth! I will always get my new Chevy cars from them and I recommend anyone to stop by and browse.

I bought my honda civic here brand new and the ac stopped working I went there and they did not want to help. I requested to talk to the manager and still did not want to help then I wrote to the general manager requesting a meeting with him to explain my situation and frustration and he never got back to me. That it showed the they just care about business whatever comes after you deal it in your own. Very ?

I did not buy a car from them but the minute I was on their website, I was offered the chance to chat with A.I. to find out what I was looking for and then a sales person texted me for follow up. I realize that it's 7:30 pm and probably a bit slow but excellent customer service!

Lmao such a sheisty sneaky dealership. Been in sales my whole life know incredible salesman/friends and mentors all the little tactics of sales these managers or whoever took advantage of us knowing we're in urgent need of a car, we had interest in a car that was the only one left, knowing it's the holiday season and end of the year, knowing all the circumstances. Car was available at 6pm when we left dealership (moved it in the back for us to "hide" it, dealership closes at 8pm), next morning when they opened said car was sold but they have a new one for us lmao. They tried to pull a quick one on us thinking we're ordinary regular customers unaware and probably ended up missing out on $150k+ sales between my entire family and relatives. My pops been buying Hondas off them for decades and referred few relatives who have also bought. He was getting ready to by the new 2023 Honda Accord fully loaded. Truly is unfortunate they would've had 3 sales from us in 3 months if not for this situation. UPDATE: It wasn't your fault Elizabeth you weren't the managers present at these times from what I was aware of but no worries at all we immeditely went to Honda of Pasadena right after and it was such a blessing. I purchased the same EXACT car brand new, except with $3,000 worth more of add-on's that are already installed on all their cars for $4k less than their "best price they could do for us" for the same car without these $3k add-on's at Monrovia!!!!!!! Insane!!!!! $4k less for the same exact car brand new with $3k worth more of add-on's. Basically a $7k swing! Moral is don't let them get you or pressure buy!!!! Always do research and check other options

Saul and Lily were nice to work with on my recent purchase. My 2023 honda crv hybrid was a bit overpriced but at least the wait wasn't long as promised. Thats just how it goes these days!! Dont bother going to el monte honda!

First off, if you've bought a Honda recently, I feel sorry for what you're about to go through. I've owned a Certified-Used Honda for 10+yrs and I got another 2018 model Certified-Used Honda in 2020. I also paid tons of money on Honda Care Extended Warranty because I wanted to make sure I deal with as little trouble as possible. I've had so many issues with the new car in my two years of owning it that I've had to visit five different Honda dealers; Monrovia, Pasadena, Anaheim, Visalia, San Jose. (Failed tire valves, failed hatchback door support, bunch of plastic interior parts breaking, etc..) What I've found out is, it doesn't matter where you go, they will ask to you sign off on paying $200 to FIND OUT if whatever problem you're having is covered under the warranty, as a "standard procedure". Even if you see the failed part out in the open with its make and model showing, they can't tell you if the part is covered by the warranty unless you sign off on $200 diagnostics. In their own words, "it's a gamble" to even find out. There's also very little chance that they can actually figure out a problem. The parts I needed this time were typically around $30~$50, it was out in the open with only four bolts holding them in place, and they would've charged a ballpark of $210 for parts & labor if the part was not listed as under the warranty (could be more), which I would've had to sign off on before they even ran the diagnostics. Here's a summary of my experience: Certified-Used means that they've checked a bunch of boxes on a check list, without an actual inspection. Paying thousands of dollars on Honda Care Extended Warranty covers nothing. Even in a rare case where something could be covered, you're rolling the dice to find out if it is. I feel bad for people working here, because as long as they're under that Honda sign, they can't do anything for you without charging you crazy amount of money. I am ashamed to have wasted so much money on what amounted to a headache after headache. If you're buying a used car, you'd have a better experience finding one on Craigslist and taking it to a local auto shop to inspect and service. Very disappointed.
