I called inquiring about repairs to my classic car when the gentleman answered the phone I stated my name and told him that I found them on yelp and I would like to find out about some repairs he hang up on me, I called back because I assume we got disconnected and I explained to him that I found his business on yelp with great reviews and I would like to see if they would be able to help me, he started saying that he doesn't have time for yelp reviewers and he was very rude I even ask if this is the way he interacts with a new potential customer his response what do you need, I just don't feel like this is the shop or person I would want to work on my car stay away.

Chris and Kyle are amazing. They can work on anything, from a care-worn Model T to Concours quality museum pieces, and specialize in Brass Era motorcars. I take my post-war British car to them. Their rates are competitive, and they're honest and passionate about what they do. Highly recommended.

Chris Kidd and his crew are amazing. They have worked on my Model T, Model A and others that I am aware of. Always willing to support the community when asked. The service just can't get any better.

I recently bought a 1965 Ford Falcon and was looking for a reputable mechanic to look over the car. Most neighborhood mechanics don't want to deal with older cars, so I started to look for a professional restorer. I was referred to Kyle at Tired Iron Works. While Tired Iron Works is definitely a "high end" automobile restoration company, Kyle was extremely friendly and offered to provide an evaluation of the car and perform some needed services to it. Even though the cars in their garage were extremely collectible compared to my Falcon (those are my words, not their's) Kyle was happy to fit my car into their schedule. He totally appreciated that the Falcon was my first plunge into the classic car world and treated me and my car with the utmost attention, respect and consideration. When I went to pick up my Falcon, I was impressed at how good Kyle had it running (as it sat among several rare and valuable classic automobiles). He provided valuable insight and recommendations but also took my budget into consideration. Kyle and the other folks I met are straight up good guys that seem to love old cars and want to keep them on the road, whether its a '65 Falcon or a 1919 Chevrolet. Tired Iron Works turned out to be a great experience and a wonderful resource as I try to improve the car in the future. Thanks, Kyle!!!
