Everyone here has been friendly and superbly helpful(and I have worked with everyone that's been here over the past decade).
Many of the bad reviews are for general frustrations with post office speed and delivery in general.
Solutions?
1. Remove people with conflicts of interest (ie DeJoy and Wos who may claim up to a total $75,815,000 in assets from U.S. Postal Service competitors, according to government records) from positions of power and/or force them do divest from companies that benefit from USPS's shortcomings.
2. Invest in your infrastructure and workers. Make sure there are enough mail carriers; ensure they are paid fair wages that raise with inflation; and prevent deteriorating labor standards which will inevitably get in the way of effective and efficient mail delivery. (The former removes many disincentives for this.)

Scanned mail that disappears and no mail getting delivered that says it is supposed to. A card was supposed to be sent to me but it disappeared as it got to the post office, what's going on?

The friendly staff at this USPS location are always going the extra mile to provide top-notch, patient, and kind customer service to me and others. There’s also a self-service kiosk that’s 24hours, and a small indoor package drop to help speed up simple transactions.

I came to this post office to make a complaint of a mailman that left all mailboxs open at the town home I live at and at the same time and day I was expecting to get a package and there was no key left in my mail box for the package . I came to this post office to complaint for a lousy job the mailman has done to leave everybody's mail box open on top of it my package gone missing and they have the nerve to have me wait for a manager and when I do then get frustrated , I ask is it necessary to wait for a manager and the employees response is " well it's up to you you wanna wait cause they are busy" and I was like this is a serious matter and I have to wait because a manager is busy ? That's pretty pathetic . I don't think they seem to care about any of this and I already have the thought to file a lawsuit because this is nuts . You don't leave people's mailbox open unattended and just leave. Seems like they did not care for their job and for my package to arrive to me safely.

Most rudest people ever! They think they are high and mighty. They can't do anything right. I request to hold mail and get confirmation and they still deliver mail. They tell methey wont hold mail for me. Who do they think they are. They tell me I need to forward my mail to the address that is our vacation home and I do so and then I get mail for a few days and then no mail. I call to check where my mail is going and they say its a computer clitch and the dont know. They ask me to follow up in a week and they still dont know but not to worry eventually it will go back to sender. Bills, check, social security,medications. They don't care! I have been at my address since 1979.This Monrovia post office is the worst.

Extremely lazy delivery people. They're getting paid to deliver my packages, AND THEY DONT. A package was supposed to arrive today, and it says they tried to deliver it. No they didn't. I DIDN'T EVEN GET A REDELIVERY SLIP. How lazy are they to not even try to deliver it and just make me go out of the way to go ALLLL the way to the post office it's at because they were too lazy to deliver it. Fire those people.

Staff is very friendly, their service is fast. It could be hard sometimes to find parking space in front of it.

While I understand in today's world why the doors are locked after hours, it makes no sense that the mail drops behind are padlocked shut - the slot isn't big enough to worry also when the curve as a letter is dropped in.
