The worst. On multiple occasions they have confirmed the prescription is ready, only to go to the store and find that not only is it not ready, but they claim they haven't received the scrip. Called the doctor, only to learn it was sent days ago. This happens more often than not. Horrible customer service. Personally, I found them rude, but when my husband goes in, they are obsequious and apologetic. I switched pharmacies a long time ago, because there are better things to do than spend half a day or more waiting for an incompetent staff to complete a prescription you've already been told is ready and waiting. Not to mention finding better customer service elsewhere. You'll be happier elsewhere. And P.S. they refused to honor GoodRX discounts and told me they don't accept them, even though they are listed on GoodRX. When I called corporate, I was told that Walgreens does honor GoodRX. Maybe they should tell their stores this.

Horrible Customer Service!!!LIZA LORENOBe aware of this lady in Walgreens located at 490 W Huntington Dr Monrovia CA 91016Her name was LIZA LORENOShe works inside the area where you get deliveries from courier services.I ordered some items from Walmart and I requested that they delivered it to their closest dropping point because my packages are usually stolen by porch pirate.She returned my item without my consent.Item saying it was delivered on my email, but I didn't get it. She was saying they only accept FedEx and not other courier services.How would I know what Walmart is going to use as their choice of carrier for delivery.Sheer stupidity is what she is!She show lack of good judgment and intelligence and she is not sensible at all.I needed that medication and this lady just returned the item to the delivery person. Be aware of this lady so you won't experience a horrible situation.

Ongoing horrible frustration with the pharmacy. They CONSTANTLY have problems with one prescription, I have to repeatedly call them, they fill it in the wrong place, the website says it's ready when it isnt. Nothing the staff does fixes this, including deleting the prescription. Stuck on their terrible phone hold system multiple times.All my other prescriptions and the store itself are just fine.

Hours changed. Don't open until 8. Employees take the front parking spots and don't leave them for customers. Pharmacy always understaffed. Prepare to be frustrated.

Always clean! Friendly service! Was here yesterday shopping for an elderly person who required a particular over the counter medicine which we could not locate. We asked the Pharmacy for assistance and she kindly educated us on the product which was very helpful. Then another employee helped us locate the product hidden deep in the shelves. There's several Walgreens and CVS's in our area but this is our trusted spot.

I work in service so I appreciated Serina's patience in dealing with a tough customer. She didn't even help me. The line built due to a lady's inability to understand the conditions of her coupon. Serina explained patiently time and time again. Finally the lady understood. Serina's voice remained calm and pleasant throughout. I appreciate individuals like Serina in Service. Thank YOU for your patience and kind manners.

I used the drive through to receive my medication yesterday and everything went fine until the Doctor came to the window to tell me how the medication was to be taken. She was speaking very fast and when I tried to ask her to slow down she continued to talk over me and even faster. It was like trying to communicate with a 16 year old girl. This has never happened to me at a pharmacy ever. It was as if she was only telling me the instructions because she had to. After she finished she told me everything she said was on the bottle. She also never iterated that I should spread out the two pills I'd be taking daily. I proceeded to read the instructions but still managed to take the medication wrong. I believe it was because of this incident. This was unprofessional as we are talking about medication here. I then called to ask if how I took the medication was ok and I know I the call was answered by the same woman doctor. She had no answer for me and again was rushing the conversation. Rather that she needed to call my doctor? This has never happened to me before. I believe a Pharmacist doctor should know the answer to these kinds of simple questions. She told me she would need to call my doctor and call me back. She did call back with decent news which was great. My only advise here is no matter how busy somewhere gets that the pharmacists take their job more seriously and take time in explaining how medication should be consumed properly. Also, it is unhealthy for her to be moving or talking that fast. No one should have to receive their medication this way!

The worst Walgreens customer service in the area. Best to do online orders and pickup at this store but not in-store purchases. They do not do price match to Walgreens.com. They do not do even exchanges when it is allowed. There are several employees who are friendly and love it when they help me, but the manager is not nice at all.

Bad service in pharmacy. Stopping the drive through to get an over the counter (stored behind the counter) item. I figured since you can pick up actual prescription in the drive through that it would be ok. You have to give them DOB etc. anyway. "Oh no you have to come inside for that". Drive home to drop off the dog and drive back. Go inside. WE ARE OUT OF THAT ITEM ". Seriously ????? The young lady was incredibly "chill" and just didn't seem to give a F at all. She had very long dark hair. That's all I will share. What shhht customer service.

Monrovia, unfortunately, lacks a reliable, customer-friendly pharmacy - it must be something in the water (go figure!) This one is not an exception, of course. When your doctor sends the prescription they will tell you it's ready. Plot twist: it's not! They will have to do a bunch of typing first, only to tell you to wait and guess what... you wait... and wait... and wait until it's finally ready. At least here they will give it to you AT SOME POINT. Try to go outside of Monrovia (Duarte Target, etc.) and especially away from this pharmacy if you really need that prescription.

If you need to go to Walgreens for any vaccination, do not come to this location. I have been here two days in a row for vaccinations and both days they kept me waiting over an hour WITH an appointment. I even filled out my personal information online for the second day to avoid the "wait", but i still waited just as long as the first day. Staff is very nice though, but I would still try a different location

Shoutout to the rude STAFF in the photo area, ELEANA. When we told her we need a DIFFERENT SIZE FOR THE PHOTO, She made a comment " GREAT!!! YOU JUST WASTED MY TIME!" If you don't have any good thing to say, then keep it to your self.

Staff is usually friendly/polite, and store and muse. selection is good. The problem, probably due to a staff shortage, is getting a phone call answered, especially in the pharmacy. First, one has to go through robot answering machine, which seems to have a hearing problem. My wife had to repeat the same choice several times, and getting louder with each try! Then, the prescription wasn't ready even though it had been sent in almost 24 hours before. Walgreens, I know things are tough these days, but PLEASE try to do better; I.e., a phone answering system that works for example.Mike M. - Pasadena
