The bathrooms are so disgusting, I've been to gas station bathrooms in the middle of nowhere that are more tidy. Someone is always in there for way too long, there's always one out of order, by the time it's your turn you might as well have gone in the woods.

Wow.... We purchased "Open Nature Sesame Flatbread crackers" this evening (12/29/23) . They tasted terrible! Turns out the sell by date is JUN 17/23, yes it's six months old!!! How can management accept this. How does no one from Vons catch this. I have complained to management about leaving products on the shelf's that have expired sell by dates on products; but nothing ever seems to be done....

I was at a family party and needed to bring some alcohol. Lynn,in the liquor section, made a few recommendations and they were all excellent!!! Most definitely an asset to the store .

This two star is for the two employees. I'm sorry, I used to love it here. Been shopping here for more than 10 years straight, customer service used to be superb. Now a lot of the old employees started leaving one by one, and service started going downhill. It has now officially all rolled down. It started in the beginning of the year when this female heavier set employee at night refused to go price check when I said it overcharged, she said she already everything is already calculated I have to pay first. After I paid she said either go back in line or ask manager, I was so shocked because I'm not even out of line yet. And she said I HAD TO PAY FIRST. When I went to the manager, he was kind, and old employee. He asked what happened, I started explaining and she loudly said in front of everything "she's wrong what she paid for is the price." She was literally trying to embarrass me. Well after he priced check she says "well was I right?" I replied for him and said "no actually, you weren't". And no she did not apologize or anything. Sadly the manager did which he did not have to. Well after that pretty much every new employee there has the same entitlement issue.

I've been thinking about why the produce is sub standard.....my theory is that I think the temperature in the refrigerator is too low....It is freezing the produce a little.....I'm sure that they make the temperature above freezing (32 degrees)......even at 40 degrees and the packed boxes of produce could cause some freezing....(insolation) Im no expert but the temperature would be ok at 50-55 degrees.......Also the isle with the lunch meat cheese hotdogs etc....is too close to the entrance door....In summertime or hot weather that heat goes down that isle raising the temperature especially that isle.....Easy to fix ?Thanks, Shammy

About to be 3 weeks and no apology from the owner from my horrible experience. I will not stop until they apologize for their disrespectful actions. To me and my husband. I have contacted the agents and said "they will take action asap". Haven't heard anything. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS VONS.

Never ever pre-order from the deli. No point they tell you a time it will be ready and it's not..... They are rude and disorganized....... I would avoid this place at all costs..... Better off going to 711

COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my groceries from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is massive. Lots of parking spots for you to choose from. Take your pick. However, beware of some small and tight spots. Store & Staff: The store itself is large. It is also very clean, neat, tidy, and organized. The aisles are pretty wide for two carts to pass by each other. Everything is organized in a way that makes sense. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

Food availability is fine but on a Friday night, exactly one check stand open. 20 people deep lines, and since no alcohol at self checkout we're talking 1/2 hour wait to check out. Horrible

This review is mainly for the awesome and convenient DMV machine they have inside! I had no idea this existed! My friend told me about this and I had to come check it out for myself. You just bring your dmv auto registration renewal notice and scan the barcode on the machine then pay! The sticker and your registration gets printed out immediately after paying. It takes less than 3 minutes for the entire process. Amazing and super convenient! It only accept card and Apple Pay just a fyi. This isn't my go-to grocery store but I do stop by randomly since it's close by to me. Groceries are always stocked and clean. I enjoy their desserts in the back like the sliced chocolate cake! Parking is shared with other businesses but it is a breeze since it's a huge lot. Good establishment overall and glad we have a Vons in Monrovia.

Be aware of this lady who works in the front end of customer service Her name was Natalie. She works at Vons Supermarket located at 130 W Foothill Blvd Monrovia, CA 91016 She is very rude and loud She ignores her co workers as well And she doesn't help customers. I asked her about where's my packages that I ordered online She just ignores me as if she didn't see me Twice she ignores me Also she didn't greet customers didn't engaged to help customers So I have no idea why she is working there. Customers is always a priority If there's no customers they don't have business And she doesn't have a job there.

Husband purchased 3 dz roses July 4th for our 20 yr wedding anniversary from Vons in Monrovia and by the 6th 2 dz of them were too wilted to keep. Did not keep receipt, our bad. Floral Mgr said " next time buy different flowers, roses come from Ecuador and take 2 weeks to arrive".

Just got back about an hour ago. Bummed with lack of customer service. Decided to spread my spending to support different businesses. Usually go to Albertsons 5 min from the house. Today drove 20 min to support this store. Went to buy 5 ribeye steaks and fresh corn for my daughters bday. Couldnt find any fresh corn so I asked the produce guy. He said."oh..we have some. We keep them on the shelf by the carrots. There are none there. I have boxes in the back. It will be a while before I start to unpack them on the shelf." I was disappointed. Any time I have gone to Albertsons, El Superior, or Ralph's, the produce guys will without hesitation offer go to the back to get me some after asking me "how many do you need?" Or offer to check to see if there are any. Had to go to another store to pick up corn.

I've gone to this store for many years and have never been treated so badly. The "manager" Natalie is a racist and will pick on you if you wear a mask. Watch your receipts and know your prices because she will try to cheat you and charge you more than what the item costs. The other manager on duty just stands by and watches it all happen and won't correct her when she tries to BS prices.
