I'm guessing they went out of business? I haven't received a Wine of the Month shipment since February, 2023. I've called the 800 number multiple times. It just keeps you on hold for 15 minutes telling you that "you're next in line", then it hangs up on you. I've tried contacting them via email and on Facebook. Again, nothing. Oh well. Probably went outta business for crappy customer service. Serves 'em right I guess. There's lots of other places to get wines. Later losers!

Well I have been a member for over 20 years and I am posting in the hope that Paul will see this. Pre pandemic, tasting days were so fun and chill with Paul mingling and the winded for tasting posted and described. Yesterday was so impersonal, given a paper list that the pourer just checked off. I am staying in the club, but if this is how tastings are going to be, I won't be driving back to Monrovia.

This is about the WOMC, not the tasting room. We were given a three month subscription as a gift for our anniversary last October. The first delivery came without a problem. The second delivery was returned to the FedEx office and disappeared. The third delivery was supposedly delivered to FedEx, but when my husband went to pick it up, it wasn't there. I spoke to a person at WOMC once who said she would look into it. We have exchanged emails and I left a few voicemails, but now radio silence. I spoke to FedEx and there's nothing they can do on their end. Here we are in February and I just left yet another voicemail for my contact at WOMC. Very disappointing. Follow up: The situation was resolved the same day this review posted. The last two shipments were sent to FedEx - picking up today. Changing review from one star to two stars.

Great place if you're looking to delve in the fascinating world of wine. There are wines for all tastes and budgets and prices are reasonable. Plus, you'll find some wineries that are very much under the radar, which is very exciting. Highly recommend!

This is a gem I found in my backyard. They have really adjusted well with this isolation situation and have introduced me at the same time to some great wines. For once I'm not mad about getting emails from this company. Their service is much better than going to BevMo. I ordered a case of wine, was able to cross reference their wines against the Vivino app, drive by, and call. A friendly person answers and brings out and puts the box of wine in my trunk and that's it. Excellent company, service and wine. I'd recommend this to my friends.

Be very careful what you purchase on this site. Some of the memberships may go longer than you think and, unless yo buy it for yourself, you won't know it unless the person you purchased the gift for tells you. And don't even think of getting a refund. They could care less. BUYER BEWARE!!!

WOMC is a legitimate wine purveyor. Alexis is a first class customer service agent. Great place, great wines, great prices.

I wanted to like this place because I want to support our local business. From the time you step in to the time you leave (somewhere in the middle it was nice) it was poor customer service. 1) Why does it take so long to pay for a wine tasting? We got in at 3:40 and we had to have two cashiers help us and by the time we got into the tasting room it was 3:50. We had some friends that came in shortly after us and they told me they got tired of waiting and just left their credit cards at the cashier's area so they can start tasting. 2) You can purchase a wine tasting (if you're not a member) and if you want the second offering, you pay an additional $5. Not bad right? 3) The place closes at 5 and the owner walks by and says to all of us, WE'RE CLOSING SO PLEASE WRAP IT UP. Huh? 4) I had two more tastings to go and since the server stopped coming by a long time ago, due to the sheer volume of people, I walked up to the counter and said I have two more to go, can you please just pour the last two. The owner said, NO WE'RE CLOSED NOW. I said I paid for the tasting. He said YOU ONLY PAID $5. 5) Sadly for them, my hubby and I were going to sign up for the club membership, but after this type of service I said HELL NO. If you're that busy, hire extra help for the day. The tastings are only held on the first Saturday of each month. It's not rocket science.
