I've had Sam do at least 10 smog inspections in the last couple years. He's the real deal, straight up. He is always willing to take the odd vehicles no one else wants to do and at a fair price. If you prefer a sales pitch, a line of bs, and a high price; there's a place down the street from him that can give you all of that....

Sam at Arrow Smog was extremely helpful in completing the task of getting our Ford Fusion smog certified to be able to acquire our new license tags for the year. We purchased a new battery for the car a week before taking the car to the first test station for the smog test. The car failed the first test because it had to complete a normal drive-cycle to allow the computer to re-set after the installation of the new battery. The smog station at that time told us to just drive the car around for a bit longer and the computer would automatically reset. I even called the Ford Dealer and was told that we needed to drive the car for at least 100 miles for the computer to activate. It turned out that the drive-cycle was more complicated than just driving around for a while. I called Sam to see if he could help us solve our month old problem and advise what further was needed in the drive-cycle to turn on the car's computer. He was very helpful and asked that we bring in the car to determine what our next step might be since the car read-out on the test instruments still showed the drive-cycle was incomplete. He provided a quote for testing the car and for the certificate. The next day we brought the car to Arrow Smog and they determined what needed to be done to make the able to be tested and within a total of about two hours of time we had the car pass the test and was issued the certificate. Nobody else seemed interested in helping and Sam took the extra effort to explain to us what we needed to do and with his help our car has a smog certificate and now has it's new license tags for this year. After a month of very stressful worries that something serious was wrong with the car it turned it to be so simple. Sam was so helpful, honored his quote from our phone call the night before and had the work done exactly when promised. We couldn't be more satisfied. Arrow Smog has just added two more new customers for Sam's honesty, helpfulness, and ability to get the work done as promised.

Search for another station for better service. Previous reviews are ancient and not many good recent posts to have considered this place. Worst experience and not friendly at all. It’s 2024 and he charges a ridiculous $1.75 for credit card payment. Wants cash so he doesn’t have to report it. And huge warning, don’t sign the estimate carbon forms in advance because he writes on the original top copy with your signature. So whatever he writes on after starting the work, he holds you as in agreement with your signature.

I arrived at 11:30 am they told me it would be 1 1/2 hour. It was 3 pm and it wasn't ready I had to complain and then they finally got back to me. It was ridiculous amount of time I had to wait. Don't bother going there!!!!

Called ahead, and brought my car in for a smog check. Sam did the work. Very nice guy, professional and out-going. Pricing is OK. Would recommend anyone to go here for a smog check for you vehicle.
