“I attended a presentation at dA Center for the Arts, in Pomona, Ca On the venue, was the Rainbow Garden ballroom in Pomona. The presenter was David Reyes and Ernie Banales.They displayed many of local young Chicano musicians and their bands having played at the Rainbow Garden along with Fat DominosBand, Little Richard and famous Mexican artists ie Javier Solis, Perez Pardo and Maria Victoria his vocalist. This Thursday at 12noon, another famous local group will be presented”
“This place offers comic books, graphic novels, action figures, toys (yes, there is a difference), awesome pins, stickers, and much, much more!!!!! You have to visit to believe it! Always a relaxing time. They have comics on sale too. You know, to give as gifts.
If you are in the area, drop by. Tell ‘em Alvarez sent ya. He won’t know who that is though. ??? I just buy comics from them. Don’t really socialize.”
“Gallery SOHO is a must when in Claremont. An eclectic collection of art in a variety of mediums and styles at very reasonable prices. This non-profit co-op has over 50 local artists who also run the gallery, I even met the artist who created the piece I bought.”
“Surprisingly large selection for the small space and they have a lot of variety. There are a lot of books and ephemera that I haven't seen elsewhere, including literary maps (I picked up a map of LA with locations from Raymond Chandler's books marked on it).
Seems to have a lot of rare and collectable titles as well as a selection of signed books. There's a large discount section in front of the shop where books are 2 for $1.”

“Just a tad bit at the end of the street, but best gallery I've been too in Pomona. The interior is nicely done with the brick and art layout. They book amazing music artists to play in the alley outside the entrance of the gallery. The owner is a super chill cool dude and appears to really appreciate arts and musical craft. “Had a blast doing this. Turns out I'm and artist. Not a good one though. I had so much fun and others look to be having fun. This is a fantastic idea for fundraiser. Memo was so nice and was a great instructor. Good artist too. We paired a fall them picture. Memo brought everything we needed for the event. We'll do this again. So worth it.”
