“I attended a presentation at dA Center for the Arts, in Pomona, Ca On the venue, was the Rainbow Garden ballroom in Pomona. The presenter was David Reyes and Ernie Banales.They displayed many of local young Chicano musicians and their bands having played at the Rainbow Garden along with Fat DominosBand, Little Richard and famous Mexican artists ie Javier Solis, Perez Pardo and Maria Victoria his vocalist. This Thursday at 12noon, another famous local group will be presented”
“I was in need of a custom sized frame for a gift and Henry was extremely helpful. I had little to no knowledge about purchasing a frame and Henry was able to suggest a few different frame options and made sure to stay within my budget. “It's such a thrill to be attending photography classes in this nice Center! The ample space is further accented by an outdoor patio area with photo ops/art objects everywhere! I understand the night photo classes are every bit as stellar! (pun intended.)”
“She did an amazing job of photos and putting together collages as well as Xmas cards along with portrait work. Easy to work with and knowledgeable with Photo enhancing software. So glad I chose her for our project as she loves thinking outside the box. Does all kinds of fantasy stuff as well as regular photography.”
“It is a used book store. This store is conveniently located in downtown area of Claremont, inside Packing House. I have been here many times, to look at variety of books, that are available for sale. The prices, too, are not on the expensive side. Of course, at the time, I did not purchase anything, since I did not have disposable cash. At the same time, I had ample of books, that I had not had time to finish reading. Still, next time, I might purchase some books. Since they are not expensive. In addition, this book store runs a non-profit, helping prisoners to read, by donating books.”
“Good shop, has all the latest comics and the buyer has a great eye for finding euro and Manga titles too, not just popular ones but a good sense for quality ones as well!”
“An interesting bar venue in downtown Pomona with a really big beer selection. The venue area has cool lighting and a good amount of seating, both long, high bar tables and shorter tables with a booth on one side. The bathrooms are OK, pretty punk-ish vibe to them (and I think the men’s stall needs some updating on the lock situation). Overall it’s a pretty decent spot for beer and music. I didn’t try the food so cannot comment on it yet.”
