Officially closed my account last week after they charged me over $250.00 in accumulated $35 fees because I had to wait 7-10 days for a transfer from my new bank to my FFCU bank account to hit and I went into the red. Could not go to a branch to pay cash into the account because they pulled out of my city. When I asked them to reverse the fees as a courtesy for over 30 years as a member, they refused. Then, when I requested they close my account, they magically could reverse ONE of the $35 fees. I have never seen another "credit union" squeeze fees from members like FFCU. This bank has gone way downhill and is hot garbage. Would not recommend.

Usually I Have Great Things To Say But Today Absolutely Not. As A Member Of 4 Years & Full Time Student I Try My Best To Make Sure I Have The Funds In My Account For My Bills Because If Not They Will Charge At NSF Of 35$ So Instead Of My 30$ Bill Being Paid I Paid That Fee Because The Lady Said I Didn't Have Enough Funds In My Account At The Time. But Yet I Had Money In My Account For That Bill Specifically Kept it In There Because Earlier This Morning That Bill Was Pending. So Instead Of Using The Money To Pay That Bill I Get Charged A NSF Fee. So My Account Pays That & Leaves Me With Nothing To Pay My Actual Bill. Took 35$ In Fees Instead Of 30$ To Pay My Bill. The Lady " Leticia Or Alicia " Not Sure Which One Did Not Help At All. She Made It Seem Like " Well Too Bad There's Nothing I Can Do :) ". That Money That Was Taken For That Fee Was The Last Of The Money From My Check. So Now I'm Left With Nothing, As We'll As That Bill Not Paid. Super Disappointed.

This financial institution (I worked with Camille) ran my credit for a loan knowing full well I didn't have the employment history to qualify with them, and then still tried to get me to sign up for a membership. They were fully aware of all my employment details and failed to tell me that was a stipulation. Very dishonest of them, I would never use this place for any loans or services. Now I have an additional inquiry on my credit that will make it harder to get a loan that could have been avoided. I would give zero stars if I could. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Have been a member for over 20 years and had a bad experience on their bill pay online banking. Paid a bill on my credit card that was close to $400. and to my notice there was a glitch on their end, and it double paid the merchant. I went through many customer service reps to help me get resolve this and get it back with a reversal, no one can do this. Finally got upset and called a manager and they cannot reverse it. I spent time and energy contacting the merchant for a refund. It was a mess and I feel that FFCU could have some kind of way to get my money back. Close to $800.00 was taken out from a glitch on their end and a learning experience on mine. I will be closing my account and moving my investments elsewhere to a place I can trust with a better app with no glitches.

Their ATM machine has been broken for over a month now. I work doing the day and have to use the ATM to do my banking. Is a great inconvenienced to drive all the way over there, and see that the machine is still broken, so I have to drive even further to the West Covina location. EDIT: I guess the ATMs need to be upgraded but the parts are stuck in a shipping nightmare.

Wasn't even open at the time it said it would be online I went at 4:30 and it was already closed plus when I went before another time I had to wait for the clerks to finish chatting before they'd help me and they seemed agitated I interrupted their conversation.

Very slow tellers.. enough people to help you but they are seating in their chairs pretending their doing something. Poor Manager service. Need a manager that can see the customer and try to help them by moving the lines or tellers faster. They have to understand that people use their lunch hour to go the bank. Just enough time to go in and out to get back to work and finish their lunch.

Nothing bad to say about FFCU. We have been banking there for 20 years and our experiences have all be pleasant. Highly recommend FFCU.

The employees are polite and helpful. The fly in the buttermilk is that phone wait times are FOREVER. We went to the Montclair branch to deposit a check. Sign posted outside reads "must have an appointment to enter". Covd19. Ok. I get it. I called the number and extension listed on the sign. I'm thinking few cars parked in the lot, perhaps the staff will let me in. Fifteen minute wait for the call to be answered. The polite lady explained that she is not at the branch. She could call, but "They usually don't answer their phones." So why even post the phone number? And it isn't directly to the branch. Terrible customer service. Terrible. Management needs to give the branch more local control.

Tired of being nickle and dimed to death here. I hate to say this but I'm much better off with my large corporate bank.

I've been with FFCU since 1997 and have ALWAYS received the best service plus no monthly account fees. I have purchased 2 cars through their loan dept with interest rates that could not be beat. Best is the online app--extremely easy to use and always accessible--love being able to deposit checks online--with my phone. My Iphone has face recognition, so unless I'm wearing my mask, I can easily check my account balances, transfer funds, etc. Can't understand the other reviewers that say their money is not accessible Mine always is.
