This is my go-to place for car repairs. The owner is friendly and very professional. He doesn't overcharge, he's honest and I highly recommend his services. I am not related to him, my sister recommended him to me years ago and I am a loyal customer. This place does excellent work.

What a great experience! My issue began on the 210 fwy coming back from a 66ers game. The engine on my Silverado shut off, and I coasted to the side. My nephew brought me gas, and I learned to keep at least a 1/4 tank. Six months later, it shut off again two blocks from home, even though the gauge read 1/2 full. My mechanic replaced the fuel pump and filter, but the gauge stayed below empty. I took it back, and the gauge read 1/4 after repairs. I filled up with $40 of gas, but the gauge didn’t move. My mechanic suggested the gauge itself was faulty. After a two-month search and contimplations of just buyinga new truck, a friend recommended Juan Castaneda. He first replaced the gauge cluster, but it still read incorrectly. Finally, he discovered the issue was the "fuel pump float arm", which was the right part for my model and year but for the wrong bed size. Juan explained he had seen this issue before and determined this to be the problem. I then exchanged the new'ish fuel pump for the correct one for my short bed truck and I was back on the road. All in all, the truck is working again, I feel both mechanics were correct in thier diagnosis. I'm glad that i was recommended to Juan Castaneda and his mechanics.

I've been going to JC for 10 years. Talk to the owner and you won't be disappointed. I had a VW Passat & now a Jetta 2017. They are trustworthy mechanics with reasonable pricing. I took my car to 3 mechanics for a quote and VW dealership told me that my brakes & discs were used and quoted me at $417. I went to JC, he showed me my car brakes and said "you are ok for another year. There's nothing wrong with the discs". My car was only 1 yr old from the dealership and I bought it brand new. You can trust their work. If there's something he can't repair he will let you know.

This shop does almost anything you need for car repairs. They don't do wheel alignments. Very reasonable and does great work! Ask for Juan.
