Despite rumors of the place being closed, there are active events scheduled throughout the summer of 2023. I'll be there for the July 22nd Music Festival. (Bands and Brews and BBQs)We have such great memories of special events in this place, and we look forward to being at some of the upcoming ones.

Saw Elf with the kids and really enjoyed the old time feel of the theater and the murals on the walls. The theater has a history of flooding as many places by the river do. Therefore it is not in perfect condition. Nostalgic and some history which is interesting but could be explained better. Definitely cold during the winter. Bring a jacket, hat, gloves, and bring a blanket for your legs. They also have shared blankets too which was nice but they rand out quick. Fortunately we got there early and were warm enough.Think Christmas in the park with no wind?
