Had a package delivered here at 10:35 am yesterday. Was there to pick it up by about 4:45pm. One worker was busy helping a very long line, the other was in the back doing her best to ignore the line on that late Friday afternoon. Finally when asked if anyone “was there for a pick up” I told them Yes, I don’t have a PO box but a package was left here earlier today. Without being asked my name, the senders name, what size box she was looking for or a USPS Tracking # I was told Nope*, it’s not here. If you don’t have a box it was sent back. I said, since just a few hours ago? I had just tracked it about 10 minutes ago. There is No Cell Service here so I couldn’t track it Live to show her (but I had a screen shot). So I was dismissed and kind of laughed at like I was a jackass for asking for my stuff, and then I left, without my package. Being treated like you are inconveniencing someone when asking for help from someone hired to do the job is Insane*. Get it together people! Got back to cell reception YES MY PACKAGE IS THERE. But it won’t be in a week when I have another day off to run errands.

Best post office EVER!! Shiela is the nicest most helpful customer service person I've ever met. She remembers your name and box number. She's always happy and willing to help. The Monte Rio post office is lucky to have her. Everyone else that works there is lovely as well:)

Guaranteed priority express is a scam. 4 days later, no package and I’ll be leaving town tomorrow, no refund, and no response from customer service while they’re busy “inquiring.”

With my local Post Office still recovering from a flood event I went to the Monte Rio Office this morning to send a Certified package. Sheila and Patty were both extremely helpful! They supplied the right size envelope that I needed and helped me with my package labeling. They are the BEST!!

Whoever delivers to my house from here is a complete waste of flesh and bone. All the time he or she will stuff packages so tight in my mailbox that I have to get my boyfriend to pull them out for me just so he or she doesn't have to walk over to my porch. When they can't stuff the package in my mailbox he dumps them out on the porch like trash and my things always get broken. I watched him throw a box of plates I got ,y mom for Christmas just the other day. I find slips in my mail saying I didn't sign for a package when they NEVER CAME TO THE DOOR for me to sign!!!! Unbelievable how our mail man treats our mail.
