Went to pick up the ranchera prime deal last week and picked up about 4-5 pounds of meat. First glance the marbling looked off and did not look like USDA prime. Cooked the meat but had little tenderness compared to prime. In my thoughts it was more like choice. $10/lb for choice is not bad but I really wish it was more marbled like the usual prime. It did make me look a little bad at the Carne Asada this weekend lol

I was very disappointed by the marinated Carmel asada..me and me friend went and for some reason he got his meat in a tin tub with plenty of marinade but my meat whick I ordered the same came in a basic wrap w no marinade. Very inconsistent. The meat itself was basic and completely lacking any flavor. I went for the 9.99 deal that they had online. I'd rather spend another dollar or two more and go somewhere else because the meat here was very underwhelming.

We were greeted with kindness as soon as we walk through the doors. As first timers, they were happy to answer any questions we had!
This place the quality of their meats is top tier! They gave us extra sauce and meat.
This location the staff is kind and the meat quality is highly recommend.

I bought Meat and Chicken chorizo and the flavor was not there. I spent over 100.00 just so I can fix the seasoning myself so never again.

They were shut down by Health Department a couple days ago for rats infestation, Health Department found several dead rats, when I called and asked the lady on the phone why were they closed she lied saying due to issues with the refrigerator

Purchased some marinade chicken breast and Chorizo (seco) but were awful and flavorless. Butcher said it is great and told how to cook it for best flavor, followed instructions to the tee, needless to say the chicken was dried and tasted so bad my dog didn't eat it. The Chorizo also flavorless chunky, no spices and bland....they sould ask Reynaldo for their recipe, it has more flavor.
Unfortunately I will not be returning, not sure what all the hype is about this place, poor people of Montebello who say this place has great quality meats.

Good quality meat, the season is sometimes lacking... Sometimes it's on point, sometimes it's too salty and lack flavor. Their habanero chicken is the best! I'll be buying carne asada and season it my self from now on..
