We came here to get ingredients for hot pot, and they do have a variety of items here. I would recommend getting things on sale to save on the grocery bill, and to sign up for their rewards program. They have different items on sale weekly. The fruits and vegetables are pricier here, so I would go to other locations for these items. This location is smaller and more packed compared to other 99 Ranch locations. Parking is also hard to find in this plaza, especially during lunch time. The items are organized in general. In terms of customer service, they do need a lot of improvement, which led to the 3 stars. My cashier spoke Mandarin, but verbally ignored me when I asked if I can use my reward points and just pointed to the pay screen. For the customer right before me, she initiated and asked if they had rewards points, but didn't ask for me. I would avoid this place unless I really need to come for something.

The ppl that work here say whatever to get you off their backs. Like.. every single employee shares this method when you show them a picture, they'll just say.. aisle X and make you go on a scavenger hunt even tho it's obviously not the right aisle. Look I'm asian but here they treat me like I have leprosy. This is different from GW where the employees say "I don't know" (bad but honest and they look like they feel bad) but sometimes you get lucky and you encounter really decent ppl who will go out of their way to understand and walk you to the section and actually help you. But here they do have a bakery section where the breads are $1.49 - Bf likes red bean bun and so I get that for him. That's pretty much it. This place aint even close to the 99 Ranch on Del Mar and Valley in Focus Plaza. That place has so much selection. Krupuk Udang can be found there. But this place is right down the street from me, so I go. And it's fun to go here cuz I like exploring different sauces and produce. They have stuff that GW across the street doesn't have (diff kimchis and ABC kecap manis for example). But GW has things that this place doesn't have (like 20 diff kinds of sesame oil for example.) GW also sells their imperfect produce for like $1. AND most items are $10% - 20% cheaper at GW. Tip: always go to GW first. Nicer ppl. Then whatever you can't find at GW is prolly here.

A decent 99 ranch market. There's a decent stock of produce, groceries and seafood. I like that this location is fairly big, but parking can be awful because there are other businesses in the plaza as well.

Most are Chinese/Taiwanese food on the shelves. Price tags are on the par with local chain stores.Do shopping only when seasonal on sale.

My friend shopped here as he was hosting a steam pot dinner and he was able to get all the seafood, vegetables, tofu and mushrooms for it. As one of his guests, the food was very fresh and the variety of Asian goods was impeccable. I was most impressed with the bai ye tofu (never had it before but I want to have it again-chewier texture, and even almost fishcake like), Asian cauliflower-bigger and separated florets and takes less time when steaming, this pickled chili-Laoganma brand-that gives good flavor to your ingredients but not too spicy. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely be stopping by here to get these items and more!

I bought 3 different species of fish that were fresh. Interestingly, workers will clean the fish for you including the removal of scales and the guts. However, they weigh the first. Basically, you pay guts which are being removed.
