I had my hair cut by Tim. Tim was very easy going and professional. I came in with very long hair (thick and difficult to manage at this time). I knew I wanted it cut short to approximately shoulder length. Per his suggestion, I now have a very cute lob! Perfect for summer. Tim even made great suggestions for managing my hair based on my hair type. Highly recommend chez moi and Tim!

I called during the day for a walk-in haircut/wash/style and was able to get scheduled in the same day after I got off work. The service was amazing! Evan was so kind & explained her whole process as well as checking in constantly to make sure I'm comfortable. The salon is clean & has a variety of products on their shelving too. I will be going back for my next haircut & a coloring service in the future! Thank you Evan, for making me feel so comfortable and giving me a 10/10 haircut :) I recommend trying this place out for anyone in need of a hair service!

I loved how Billy gave me a nice neat structure of my hair. He explained to me why he had to do a certain way to achieve the bob cut that I wanted as I had so many layers in my hair that was hard to really achieve a straight bob cut. I am very happy and he is very kind and polite person. Also I want to recognized the help of the receptionist who took my call - I forgot his name, but I asked if I can come as walk in customer, they really tried to accommodate me as a very last minute booking. Appreciate it! Also they’re very near my house! Reasonable price too! And parking is easy!

It's really more like 3.5 stars. I was disappointed in the cut as it was really unflattering on me. The hair stylist was very nice and friendly-she gave me a good vibe overall but I just didn't like the cut. I have very thin hair so I told her I prefer bottom layers but she cut my hair shorter than I wanted and had middle layers. The bangs were also cut between my cheekbones and jaw which I did not like. She explained her focus was to cut my hair to give more volume but it was unflattering for my features. I thought maybe its the way she styled my hair (relatively flat with volume on curtain bangs) but after a few days and washing my hair, its just that the cut doesn't suit me.

Worst haircut of my life. The guy didnt listen to a single thing and cut off my hair super short. Super uneven and made me look like a hot mess where i had to go get it fixed at another salon. Biggest regret and waste of time, money and my emotions

The quality of service is fantastic. I have gone to both Vicky and Billy, they always leave my hair beautiful. I went to Vicky today for a haircut and she styled my hair exactly how I asked. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Went in for a cut after a bad experience earlier in the day, was able to call in for a same day appointment. Arrived on time, was checked in on time, shampooed promptly and was out in just slightly over an hour. Hair looks great, cut is high quality. Very chill and professional salon. Would come back. Louis did a fantastic job, and reception is very friendly.

The 5-star review is for Evan Wang. She came highly recommended by my friend (whom I was visiting in LA, and I live in Maryland). I called the same day (a random Tuesday in August) and got squeezed in even though she had a busy schedule, so I was super appreciative. I really loved her efficiency and honesty when it came to her assessment and I felt super comfortable just letting her do what she thought would be best. The wash was great too - loved the head massage. I also loved Evan's tips at the end. My friends and I really liked the end result! A word about the location - it's in the plaza in the same place as Daikokuya off Atlantic. I parked (no charge) right outside Daikokyua and walked "into" the center and veered slightly left and the salon was to the left. The salon is nicely lit and clean, also great at answering calls so if you get lost, just call (that's what I did). I paid on credit card, but tipped on venmo. It was $60 for a cut with senior stylist.

Highly recommend this hair salon! I've been looking for a hair salon near East LA/MP to get my hair bleached/colored and I finally found my go to! I called on a Friday morning for a balayage appointment and they were able to get me in the next day on a Saturday at 11am. On the morning of the appointment, parking was easy and free. I was a couple minutes (2-3 mins) late to my appointment because I had a little bit of a challenge finding the spot. For those visiting, it's located down the middle hallway, on the left side behind daikokuya! Once I checked in at the front desk desk, they let me know to sit down in the front waiting area and that my stylist will be ready in 10 min. I got seated to do a hair consultation before getting started and I really appreciate how she walked me through every step and told me that she wants to prioritize the health of my hair. She was realistic with how light I can get my hair and made recommendations based off my hair type. She also let me know that the entire process would take at least 5 hours. After 2-3 rounds of bleach and 5.5 hours later, I got exactly what I wanted. Throughout my entire experience, she checked in on me and asked if I was comfortable. They offered me snacks and drinks every hour or so to make sure I wasn't hungry through the long stay which was very kind of them. For those curious, I paid $375 total for my hair service. I got a neutral blonde balayage done on my previously bleached/dyed hair and I have medium/long hair length. P.S. for their card machine, they only accept visa and Mastercard. I tried to use a discover credit card and had a bit of a hiccup but was able to pay via Apple Pay.
