So dissatisfied with the care of my pet. Never trusting that place ever.

Dr. Sanathara and staff were so great to my dogs, Lilly and Onyx. Have been going there for over 12+ years. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my doggies!

We love the staff and service provided to us at this clinic (so does our little one, Milo). The vet is extremely knowledgeable and provides very accurate diagnosis. I highly recommend this hospital for your pets!

I’ve been bringing my dog to Dr. Sanathara and Dr. Nisha since 2017. The careful attention they give to pets is really good. Both doctors are upfront about procedures and provide options on pricing and medication costs. I love how they explain the whole process. Also the staff is very welcoming and always kind to my dog, even though he can be a handful sometimes!

We have been using Monterey Park Animal Hospital since we got our first pet in 1995 to present. The staff and Dr. Sanathara have always treated our fur babies with exceptional care showing professionalism and kindness. Also have used their boarding services several times-with little or no advance notice and felt insurmountable relief knowing that they will be taken care of. I will recommend any Pat owner to use their caring and valuable services.

Super expensive but they always have availability. Definitely will take tests that seem unnecessary but if you have the mentality "better safe than sorry" it's cool ig. 700 ex rays, 400 blood work. 60 for just the appointment, and meds if the pets need it. Exhausting. The price is definitely high lol.

NOT A STAT ER facility! The website does indicate this is an "emergency room" location however, the registration process requiring payment for consultation, and after consultation, again requiring someone else beside Dr. to provide price listing and testing and payment before any actual treatment is done to support life of pet in an emergency is misleading. I requested that my pet were placed on IV while exams were being administered and worry about the financial costs later. Personally, my visit to the emergency room was to preserve my pets life. After a lengthy wait after speaking to the doctor, I decided to retrieve my pet and take them to another emergency room where they were placed on IV upon arrival. I understand different facilities have different abilities. However, I did not consider this location an emergency room capabilities based on the intake process & my experience. I have not attended this facility for any other services, so cannot speak on those.

I went in with my bird for it to be checked of a problem that she had been carrying with for the past month. The problem wasn't anything threatening I just wanted to make sure she'd get better. An expensive fee for her just to be taken in of $90. They didn't let me in for the check up. They supposedly gave her an injection but reached no conclusion of anything ever being wrong with her. The whole appointment was 300 with many of the charges being idiotic. The next day in the morning my bird started having sudden heart attacks and respitory problems. Agonizing as I took her back to the hospital where the vets claimed they couldn't do anything to save her. They killed my bird and have read many reviews of this happening to others. A mysterious injection with no true reason to be given kills the pets. This is truly horrible and charges are insane. This place should be shut down, they are killing animals. If this has happened to you i highly suggest we get together and SUE them. This will keep happening if it's not stopped. DONT TAKE YOUR PET!!!

I brought in my kitten as a first time patient because he was sick. During his appointment I wasn’t allowed to go in because of their Covid rules which is fine. The thing I had a problem with is what happened after my kitten’s appointment. The doctor is supposed to call you and let you know what is wrong with your pet. Will, what I got was a phone call that lasted less then a minute and I had to ask the doctor to repeat himself because I couldn’t hear him, he repeated himself but still couldn’t hear him. What I expected was longer conversation because I was charged $70 because my pet was a new patient. I had a few questions I wanted to ask the doctor but he cut me off. I will never go here again. But I would like to say the staff was extremely nice.

Nothing against the staff, they're very polite and helpful but. They changed my appointment from the morning to the afternoon which was fine with me but I waited 45minutes before they took my pet in. 9o degrees outside and no parking space available.

Great service, very attentive. My dog and bearded dragon have both been patients here. I was able to get in the day of for an emergency visit. Reasonably priced.

I was very disappointed by the Veterinarians I feel they are just guessing and just keep charging us so much money. We are taking out pets somewhere else ?
