I paid for the blood test completely in cash on the spot, signed the contract, and then sent three bills to ask for money afterwards. This is a terrible, deceptive laboratory!

Well I needed to get my blood test so I swung by Sun labs to get it done. It was a quick and easy process as they had their own bathroom to liquify a small container and then I was quickly called in to draw five bikes of blood. The technician stated she saw a vein maybe from her angle on my left arm but I told her I think my vein on my right arm is better but she decided my left arm was where she'd get my bloodwork. After poking me it hurt slightly and blood slowly dripped out for the first vile but by the time she went to the second nothing came out and she was moving the needle around. I was like asking her if she should be doing that and she said it was fine and asked if I was hydrated. I confirmed by stating I had drank 500mL of water prior to seeing my Doctor. A supervisor came and she told her staff to try a second vile and claiming that possibly the vile was defective but again just a little blood came out. So she said let's try your right arm. What got me thinking afterwards was they used the same needle from my left arm to my right arm. I guess same body but shouldn't they use all brand new equipment? I don't know but I had plenty of blood spewing out of my right arm. They have pretty much one star reviews and I know why now but I've been here many times in the past so it's not always bad but definitely it was bad this time around.

The desk ladies are unorganized and rude! We called in advanced to pick up an urine container for testing. It was confirmed with all the information needed. When I got there, one lady was clueless, and demanded I take a number and wait in line. Even after I clearly and courteously explained to her that they've me to go straight up to them. She made me take a number and wait. Anyhow, when I was finally called, the other lady said, "why didn't I tell them?" So dumb.

Yes, there can be a longer than normal waiting period at times but, the staff has "always" been polite & courteous to everyone that has been there in my presence. And I've been going there since 2008. So, unless you're an impatient person, I suggest bringing a book.

This place is the most unprofessional, unorthodox and uncouth and a most unacceptable clinic to hold a current license for service. Our family doctor is Doctor Yau, Who conveniently is on the second floor. Two family members can attest to this experience in where the Nurse/receptionist was overbearingly rude and needlessly aggressive; In simply Communicating basic instructions and was seen by 15 people or more, raising her voice and repeating broken angry English phrases; That the whole room responded in a confusing and a shocked visible manner. Nothing less than a condescending tone, With a misguided sense of entitlement to her authority. Also a family member had mentioned she had overheard racist remarks being made blatantly in front of her in the back waiting/draw area, and Where the nurse practitioners assumed that she wasn’t educated or had a proper vernacular; she Silently was observing this racist verbal attack right in front of her. The woman they were attacking holds a MA degree, Secondary to holding exceptional verbal skills. The audacity and the ignorance, to show such low class commitment to patient care, and in being found to be openly racist, is nothing less than appalling and needs to be swiftly investigated by the board of the ICP.As to any contest as not being able todo so: we suggest utilizing CCTV cameras and perhaps in tandem some with microphones and start reviewing them asap.Disgustipated and disgusting was the experience for everyone involved with this recent clinic visit.Oh -Be sure to Memorize the bathroom code as 500: Because they will immediately start yelling at you if you don’t realize what that is.Back to the story, through the ongoing classless verbal assault, comically guised as clinical help; a verbal request of changing representatives was made, which was heard throughout the room of 15 awaiting people; and they then assign a Hispanic lady, Who, is pretty much equal with her aggressive delivery process; just offering complete sentences: however -Basically showing her mental incapacity of dealing with different multiple cultures; Demonstrating to us her inability to be calm, civil and compassionate in communicating basic clinical instructions to patients. Hey -In where some patients, quietly may harbor serious systemic conditions; that need a little more clinical care and consideration. From hearing loss to cognitive difficulties; You will be abused here. You will leave with additional ICD 10 codes, That you likely report and need to send to your to your PCP.Professional service and true patient care Is simply verbal window-dressing for this clinic. Also: Urine sample returns are being placed in a paper box; 4 inches away from patients signing in. No basic sanitation nor de sanitation modules seen.No verbal care for physical hygiene only that to reassure all through the yelling technique if everyone is compliant wearing their mask: …Regardless if it is N95 compliant or not.lol, And No -They do not have masks for you to wear, to help enforce their militant code for Covid hygiene mantra.Question for the IPA: Is there not a universal cross-contamination implementation policy In the state of California that HIPAA endorses?Or - Perhaps not here? Bottom line there is needless verbal aggression and racism in this clinic that is so complacent and so conveniently thrown about within that atmosphere - that it’s now destroying PCP revenue and hurting the integrity of other doctors in the area with ONLY cultivating resultant high stressed patients in their patient care roster. If you do not speak Chinese - do not expect on any level to be treated humanely, let alone within the parameters of what you expect as clinical service. This full patient account and clinical experience needs and will be drawn to be brought to the Board of ICP end Q2022.There are other neighboring blood test centers that you should endorse.Sun Clinic: Reeducate your proxies, reaffirm patient care, audit your mission statement and replace PRN.

They repeatedly did mistakes on a kid blood test . very unprofessional bad attitude, careless. No reply no apologies. If you don’t like the job . You can quit. Lab test is very important. Highly recommend the health department check their qualification. another thing why Sun Lab cash only. IRS should make a flag on their company. They have a lunch between 1-2 pm. They take the last patient around 15-20 minutes before 1 pm. Be sure to grab a number at the front desk so you're not just waiting in line for nothing.

When I received a bill in the mail from Sun Clinical Laboratory - a place I'd never been to or heard of - I thought it was a scam. In November 2021, I had routine blood work done at a local doctor's office. Without my knowledge, it was outsourced to Sun Labs. I was first contacted by Sun Labs in February 2022, three months after my lab work. I received a surprise bill in the mail notifying me that not only did I owe them money, but that my account was past due. I was confused, as I paid hundreds of dollars in fees at the doctor's office, and I was suspicious, as, again, I had never been to or heard of Sun Labs. In May 2022 - six months after my lab work - I received another notification notifying me that my account was, this time, severely past due and would be sent to collections if not paid. Of the five times I called to inquire about this charge, I was told the billing person was out twice, sent to voicemail once, and redirected to my doctor's office. On the fifth time, I finally spoke with the billing person, who continuously excused the poor communication from start to finish. tl;dr - poor communication makes for unhappy customers

Whenever visited, just expect to have a 30 min to an hour wait for just giving your papers in. If you missed your call, oh well, please wait for another hour. I mean, you really just can't blame them for having limited capacity and to mumble the number on the counter. After all, it was a quiet competition. Who needs the microphone on the side anyways.TIPS. Stay inside the room like your life depends on it, don't wait in the hallway. And please, get a number ASAP when you arrive.

While seemingly always very busy, they are efficient. A big plus, they are very experienced at drawing blood from patients with "difficult" veins. My primary sometimes cannot get blood after multiple sticks, Sun gets it t G e 1st time with minimal discomfort.
