Visited this shop to look for affordably priced long sleeves and sweaters because I severely underestimated the weather and mostly packed tank tops for my trip. They had a couple of 50% off areas and I was able to find some T’s and sweaters for $25-$35! Also, check your receipt. The register does not have a display showing the charges and one shirt I purchased that was marked 50% off did not get caught until after I walked out.

We just visited because of the name and were expecting to find California-branded stuff, but all we saw was Monterey-branded gear—boring. The trip felt useless. Can someone please make those California designs? You’d be rich by now 😅

Best selection/quality of t-shirts/caps/hoodies/etc we found (and boy did we check them all) in Monterey. Decently priced but importantly good quality, not the generic stuff that a few of the other shops had.

What a GREAT shop! They have very high quality items and a lot of them. The selection is really good. Good value for the product you get. The person working behind the counter was extremely helpful and nice. They were having a good sale on hats and I love my two new hats.

I found the clerk there to be polite but not overly solicitous which I dislike when I am browsing. I don't understand the previous reviews complaining about not getting help from store employees. This store has a good selection of interesting designs on both sweatshirts and tees. I found a sweatshirt that I bought and have worn it nearly every day since. I love it. Prices are reasonable given inflation these days. I was happy when I left.

I came across a very friendly man who works here. He told me about all the different promotions and showed me a couple of different shirts that unfortunately were not available in my size. I love the variety of the nine California state bear items. I got a few stickers. I bought some postcards. I bought my mom a really beautiful pillbox for her upcoming trips. I can't say that there's anything super exciting in the store at all but depending on what you're looking for they may have exactly what you were hoping to find in this Cannery Row area. I definitely plan on coming back as a man was very sweet. Hopefully they'll be here long enough for me to make a few more trips.

Super soft tees and sweatshirts at great prices. $40 is reasonable for a sweatshirt at the level of quality of these items.

Great selection purchased several items. Greeted and offered help on two occasions. Clearly got the message from previous reviewers. Some items I wanted in my size weren't in stock - was hoping to buy something online, but it looks like website is down. Wished they would fix that!
