Walked out the place on discovering the menu is a lot more expensive than advertised on the website. The staff were friendly and it has a nice atmosphere with fires. It has a great view if you get a window seat. But I cannot comment on the food as I wasn't prepared to pay the price for it.

The food was terrible. Ordered fish and chips and only came with one fish. Fish was greasy and oily. For $27, you'd think it'll be better?! Second, I ordered a mixed drink and it was horrible. They used cheap liquor and for $14, I was upset. Lastly, service was terrible. Our waitress was never there.Definitely do not recommend this place.

We went there as they had availability seating for a walk in. When the manager was out there trying to get people in, I should have seen it as a red flag. The food was awful. We got the sea food pasta and the noodles were okay. The fish they used in the dish taste horrible. It tasted like it was sitting out for a while. Overall, I will check out other restaurants before coming back here

I’m out here for a Women’s Council of Realtors event. We walked passed and was seated right away. Party of 10. The service was amazing Samantha and Louis was very accommodating and attentive to all of our needs. I ordered the claim chowder with garlic bread. Ummm good.

Totally Overrated and Overpriced for the food, around the area I found better places where to eat and better prices as well. Only the view was great but doesn’t worth the prices. Fried calamari, fried fish and French fries where too oily, almost nasty grease ??

Celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with a long weekend trip to Monterey and a late relaxing lunch at Crabby Jim's Seafood. We really enjoyed a window view of the rainy harbor and the relaxing, quiet environment of the restaurant! The clam chowder, the best I've ever had, tuna steak, and hamburger were all very good, and the wait staff were pleasant and helpful! Their dessert tray looked great, and the baked cookie was well worth the extra wait as the cookie was baked fresh and served hot. The waiter even treated us to an unexpected complementary serving of their bread pudding as a treat for our anniversary! We recommend you give Crabby Jim's Seafood a try when you are in the area!

We used to like this place, however we went back, sat and realized that prices went up $10 a plate and when asking, we were told they raised prices at this time of the year to make up for “possible” loss ? We obviously left surrounded by a weird greed cloud. I just thought it might be the loser thinking to anticipate for a possible upcoming losing situation. Definitely what you prepare for and potentially observe is what the universe gently could grant for you. Happy New Year!!

Beautiful restaurant that overseas the water. The food was delicious. It's pricey, but it's definitely worth it. The service was great. We will be back for sure.

I have been here a few times and always loved it. This time was quite the opposite. The menu has changed and the prices were very high.I ordered a hamburger and it came to the table looking good until I ate some of it. The meat whatever it was,was really thick . I suppose that would make up for the taste. It must have been made with a filler. It didn't taste like meat at all.For $24 you would expect it to be fantastic. The waiter was very good and gave me a couple of dollars off.I will never go there again.

My boyfriend and I actually had a reservation elsewhere and we were walking around the Old Fishermen’s wharf to kill time before our reservation. We were greeted by a really fun and charismatic hostess who really sold us on free calamari and dinner with an amazing view. We canceled our reservation and was seated next to a window with an amazing view, as promised. When we were seated, we were served drinks and the server came back to take our order. When we inquired about the free calamari, our server, Riad appeared displeased and annoyed we asked for it and said,“I’ll get you your calamari! I’m asking about what you’re having for dinner!”We ordered another appetizer and he came back to take our order. My boyfriend ordered a burger and I ordered the clam linguini. The burger was extremely salty, the fries were extremely salty. The garlic bread that came with my pasta was really salty and the sauce was incredibly salty, and even the fried artichoke hearts were incredibly salty. We don’t mind paying extra for fine dining experience and high quality food but we couldn’t justify paying the high prices for rude service and poor quality food. The atmosphere was really nice and cozy but overall, I would give this a 1.5/5 overall.

A charming little restaurant on the wharf. We had a window seat it was warm and inviting. They gave us complimentary calamari and I ordered a margarita. The view of the water during dinner was so relaxing. My son and hubs ordered steak and I had the salmon.

Got a cup of clam chowder with crab meat (this was really good and large in size for just a "cup") and an order of garlic bread which is a full size loaf on the dinner menu (enough for a family of 4). Also got complimentary fried calamari, which was delicious but unnecessary. The bill was high, mainly cuz you pay a premium for anything with crab here and of course that family-sized loaf of garlic bread. But, whoa, a diet soda for $5... yikes. It's fine though, the waitstaff and servers were super friendly and helpful, refilling my soda without me having to ask, and attentive to guests' needs. There was no wait to be seated and hardly a wait for the food to be ready. Seating is awesome here too, the tables along the windows with views looking out into the water. I could watch the lighted boat parade while dining here this past Sunday. My only gripe about this place was the worker outside the entrance constantly yelling at passersby, in a forceful effort to gain customers. Honestly, I was already gonna come here, but that almost drove me away, it was a little annoying, and she was borderline rude. Besides that, I think this is a decent seafood restaurant on the wharf.

A good choice for lunch or dinner if you're craving some fresh seafood at the fisherman's wharf in Monterey Bay.PROs: We came here, because the wait time was zero, and the gentleman outside gave us a free appetizer if we ordered a meal. The calamari was very good and fresh. We also had a dozen oysters and they were also very good, more horseradish, would've been better with them though. We all had bowls of clam chowder, and it was excellent. The lobster ravioli and fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp were also very good. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Our food came out within minutes of being ordered. The atmosphere and ambience of this restaurant was also very appealing and fitting with the theme of the city.CONs: Bathrooms were cramped, no paper towels, and very small for a restaurant of this size. The house margarita was very bland, and definitely tasted like a premix vice a fresh drink. Some crackers with the clam chowder would've been better than the very thick, garlic bread they brought out.
