Gold's Gym Monterey is a modern and welcoming fitness center with friendly staff and good equipment. Visitors appreciate the laid-back atmosphere and the spacious layout, which allows for easy movement. The gym is in excellent condition, though it has only one Smith machine. The equipment quality is good, and the gym provides everything needed for a quick workout. The staff, including those who assist visitors, are friendly and helpful, making guests feel welcome. Visitors visiting from out of town have enjoyed the guest passes, with some noting that the process was smooth and the value was good. The gym is located inside a mall, which requires parking and walking into the mall entrance—some find this setup a bit inconvenient. Amenities like bathrooms could be cleaner, and there is a minor complaint about the lack of paper towels in the bathroom. Overall, Gold's Gym Monterey is a solid choice for those looking for a friendly, well-equipped gym with a great atmosphere, despite some minor inconveniences.
