We loved our time at Hotel 1110. The homemade made to order breakfasts were amazing, we loved the cozy rooms, friendly staff and rooftop bar and grill.

I'm glad that the wife and I found this place.
The staff was super nice, the location was convenient and close to a lot of shops. We also had a nice view of the bay.
As you read all of the reviews, please keep an open mind.
The outside of the building could use some touch-ups to draw a little more appeal. But Monterey is a historical town, so yeah, the buildings are older. That is one of the charms of this hotel. It's old school, but you can see that the business is making changes to keep it relevant but also maintain that vintage vibe.
The rooms are small but cozy. The bathroom has a bidet, which is awesome, in my opinion. The water pressure in the shower is AMAZING!!! The shower fixtures they have in there was a HUGE bonus. (Check the photos).
Breakfasts is an extra cost, but well worth it!
The rooftop bar was also perfect. Good food, cocktails, and an amazing view.
Sorry for the long review. All in all, my wife and I loved staying here. We will be back next year.

Nearby activities: Plenty of things to do right at Fishermans Wharf and the downtown area. Bars, Family fun on the beach, and plenty of sights to photograph.
Safety: A few homeless people are nearby on the beach, but no one bothered my wife and I when we went out for our walks during the day or evening.
Walkability: Fisherman's Wharf is a 10-minute walk. The shoreline was just a few minutes' walk.
Food and drinks: There is a rooftop bar that has good drinks and an amazing view.
They had plenty of food spots within walking distance, McDonald's, London Pub, the dusty bowl, Sapporo steak house to mention a few.

This is an affordable stay in Monterrey. This means, the hotel rates in Monterrey have increased more than the value of the property! You'll have to search expensive rates before stumbling on 1110 Hotel. The desk staff is friendly. The room we stayed in was clean. The property is more like an Inn and less like a hotel.

About a year ago now Tony and his father took in a family of lost Aussies and showed us some of the best hospitality we have ever seen. Breakfast was superb, the rooftop + a few LA Babes started the evenings off beautifully and Tony was so kind and accommodating. We loved our stay at Hotel 1110 and will be coming out of our way to stay again when back state side. Come visit us in Wagga Wagga Tony!

We visited here from Montana for the week. Tony, Nick and the staff was amazing and treated us like family. The breakfast was elegant and very tasty. We enjoyed the LindaRose rooftop bar. The hotel had an unique charm that other hotels do not. The location was walking distance to the beach and many attractions. We already miss them, thanks for everything!

We had a fabulous stay at Hotel 1110! The hotel has a great location across from the beach and is walking distance from the Wharf, Cannery Row and the Aquarium. The rooms were clean and each one was unique and comfortable. However, the best part of our stay was the team at Hotel 1110! They made us feel welcome right when we walked in and ensured we had a fabulous stay from local recommendations to their delicious, and included, made to order breakfast each morning! You also must check out their amazing roof bar and restuarant with spectacular views of the ocean. Thank you Hotel 1110 for a wonderful stay, we will be back!
Walkability: Close to all of the main attractions!

What a hidden gem! It's quaint and unique and reminds me of the hotels I've stayed at in Europe. The service is truly amazing with extremely nice & helpful staff. The free breakfast (and food on the rooftop restaurant) is delicious. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the wharf and places with local food. Would definitely recommend!

This isn’t really a hotel, it’s more of a bread and breakfast. Honestly it feels kind of like a scam. It advertises as a four star hotel, and that’s what I was expecting. It’s my fault for not doing the homework (Reddit describes a room as “microscopic” and they’re on point). What kind of four star hotel has no elevator, desk in the room, or air conditioning? It’s run like a small business and not one in the hospitality industry - the manager/owner Tony is polite but honestly not particularly helpful or welcoming. He admitted that he only opened the door for us because he thought we were delivering water. Maybe I look too young or unimportant, I don’t know. We had bikes (heads up, although the hotel advertises its proximity to the bike path, no bikes are allowed in the room), and when we asked where to leave them, he told us to leave them outside on the patio. There isn’t a bike rack there or honestly even space for two bikes. We told him this and he just said “well, sorry.” No refunds of course, you’ll see this in other reviews as well. Ultimately I guess I should’ve read all the one star reviews because they’re pretty accurate. One said that they gave two stars because they stayed elsewhere and came back for breakfast which was cute. I concur, breakfast was cute so two stars. If they advertised like they were a BnB or something, it would’ve felt so much better. The evacuation plan on the back of the door still has the name of the previous inn on it, which only further makes you feel slighted.

I recommend this because it’s super close to Cannery Row, the aquarium, and everything! The host was great and continental breakfast was great, I just would not recommend the paid parking, it is too small and compact, and it is through an alleyway. There is plenty of street parking.

What a lovely hotel! Very old-word feel with wonderful customer service. We loved how the complimentary breakfast was an actual dining experience. The location was great, the staff were so personable. Some of the room furnishing were a little outdated, but overall, we had a very nice experience! Would return.

I have stayed at Hotel 1110 about 4 years ago and returned recently and it does not disappoint! From the friendly front desk staff who knew our names and checked in with us about our plans, to the phenomenal rooftop, and lovely breakfast, this place is an absolute gem! 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be staying here when I return!
