this hotel has its pros and cons,if you like to feel center of town then go there,if you dont like noise skip it,cause it's quite noisy.Breakfast was nice,view also was very beautiful,but to be honest its a little bit expensive for what we got,it didn't worth.

Lovely view over the park and ocean, we even saw sea otters from our balcony. Room was clean, comfortable and a good size. Would recommend.

I toured with Christian and Isabelle. They were so nice and informative. They acknowledged every concern that I had regarding the stay at the hotel. The hotel was definitely budget friendly and hit all the check marks for needed amenities: parking, views, location, and great customer service!

The location is amazing, right next to the beach with a bunch of sea lions. Also right next to the trolly for easy travel. If you have a room facing the ocean there is a great chance you will see Frank. He is the most amazing sea otter who hangs out for hours. Eating and floating Pictures are from several days. And the sunrise is amazing.
Some of the things that could use work, the shower leaked into the bathroom no matter what we did, the screen door to the balcony sticks and is hard to close and there is not little store for snacks or anything like that.

Very professional service. Offered free cookies in the lobby. Location overlooking beach/ bay was amazing. Sea lions were barking all day and night so we used a fan found in the room to create some white noise.

Great rooms for price. Strange they bring you a continental breakfast to your room that needs more options and food. The sea lions just outside of your room is cute, but keep you up and wake you up early when you do fall asleep

Monterey Bay Inn is AMAZING! We first found this hotel back in March for my birthday away with my wife. 10 stars from the moment we met Dennis a nice young man at the front desk , Dennis is a local there in Monterey, he is full of information, from places to eat , to places to visit , boat tours , lookouts on the ocean . Just very nice and SUPER HELPFUL ! He even helped us with an upgrade to our room that I’m about to mention . Everything from our first visit was amazing like I’ve said . This place , we just couldn’t get it out of our heads ! From the large 502 square foot suit which looks out onto the ocean and rocks below, to our own balcony with a barista table & chairs overlooking the tide pools & park. It had Theee most comfortable king size bed , but the jacuzzi tub looking outside at night over the ocean set it off !! We fell in love with our room that we just had to book it again for my wife’s birthday right after Mother’s Day. Guess what ? Dennis was there to greet us at check in once again . Always kind of, and super helpful. They have a ALL STAR EMPLOYEE with him working there . This is our new getaway from our busy life ! Thank you Monterey Bay Inn for ALWAYS MAKING IT MEMORABLE ! We can’t wait to visit you guys again, hopefully soon ! I almost forgot to mention that they serve you a nice continental breakfast to your room at your selected time the next morning. Such a treat to be able to sip your cup of coffee while listening to the waves crash below . Never a dull moment with the natural wild life either , sea lions , seagulls, sea otters to the fishing boats heading out . I couldn’t recommend this place enough . TREAT YOURSELF ! DONT CHEAT YOURSELF. 🤙

We had a nice time staying at Monterey bay inn. and we usually do every time we stay here. Staff is very friendly and very accommodating . The view is amazing.

I feel like the bathroom and the rugs could get upgraded. They feel used and rugged. I was not barefoot at all. The hot and cold water were the opposite way. The room smelled like too much cleaning products.
The view was really pretty though, we had a pull out couch that we made into a bed for our kiddos and they had a blast. Other than that, service was great, it was quick and we checked out late. 3.5/5 stars
