This Market will forever be my favorite market! I have been coming here for years!!! It really does hold a special place in my heart! The stands have changed over the years, but many have stayed around! They have fruits, vegetables, sushi, bbq, baked potatoes, roasted chicken, burritos, quesadillas, tamales, roses, plants, root beer, Mexican Aguas Frescas, clothes, jewelry, soaps, candles, honey, essential oils, and much more. My favorite stand to go to is the Chamoy Bros Candy stand, which is gummy candy mixed with a special spicy sauce that is made with ume plums, salt, and peppers. This place is a place to take your family, have a nice walk, eat different food, and have a good time. There are many delicious restaurants around the market as well and they are open during the market. Do make some time on your Tuesday afternoon between 4 qnd 8 pm to have some fun in Monterey!

An easy evening excursion. It operates Tues. from 4-8PM and extends to the bay (convention center) and the corner Rite Aid pharmacy (a good 7 blocks?). A MIXED VENUE with food trucks, produce, health and beauty products, and some crafts and accessories. I am not sure but sometimes I hear music from a distance. Live music would definitely bring me back and linger longer.

It looks pretty great, but apparently is postponed until further notice. We wasted part of an evening of our vacation trying to find it, with Yelp and Google both giving the information that it was open with masks required. Finally, the next day, I looked harder trying to figure out what happened, and found that their actual official web site does say that it's currently on hold. So, just writing this in hopes it will save others the frustration.

Best farmers’ market I’ve ever been, just love it. Great variety of fresh produces, food, flowers and crafts etc. Very interesting marketplace.

One of BEST Farmers Market's you will ever experience. This weekly event is HUGE! It seems to go on and on and etc... It must be three or four city blocks in all with many food vendors, artists and various other types of booths. It really is a good time and visited by many people each week. The fresh fruit and veggies avail from numerous local farmers is AWESOME! and prices are affordable. It does get cold as the Monterey Bay is 1/2 mile from this weekly event so be sure to pack a sweater or jacket

I loved it, bought some amazing coffee from Jacob's Bear Coffee, local roaster. I was also able to buy some green onions that are so firm and crisp. There is 2 agua fresca stands and both have amazing product and service. There is a plant stand right by the firetruck next to the knife stand, this couple are amazing, their plants are just beyond gorgeous and their prices are unbeatable. I love the Monterey Farmers market.
