We had a fantastic stay at the Pacific Inn Hotel in Monterey! The room was spotless and spacious, and the parking was a huge bonus. Plus, they were dog-friendly and allowed us to bring our pup along - super convenient for pet owners! The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location was perfect for exploring all that Monterey has to offer. We'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. We'll definitely be back!

Really crappy pet policy that they don’t tell you about beforehand. $250 fine if you leave your pet unattended (even in a kennel). Nowhere on Expedia or prior was this said. This immediately lost them 2 stars because it altered our entire trip.
But even worse, the room had rats in the walls. They were scurrying and fighting and running around all night and morning. My wife caught videos of them in the bathroom. This is just unsanitary and possibly illegal.
When confronted about this they said that no one had complained. Wild.
The entire stay should be comped.

Perfect quiet place in downtown. A lot of historical places are in this location. Perfect service, amazing interior, great impressions . I did not make any reservations. Super fast check in. I’m impressed. I’ll definitely come back! Thank you

Pacific Inn is awesome. We chose to stay at this Inn since we had an excellent experience a few years back. The room is beautiful with access to a TV, microwave, refrigerator, plugs on each side of the queen beds, closet to hang your clothes, iron board, mirrors, table and chairs, coffee is provided. Then there is the bathroom. The room as well as the restroom are so clean. The Pacific Inn is beautiful even on the outside. It also provides an area for your puppy 🐶. Just be sure to clean up afterward.

This was our first 'Family' hotel stay in ten years with our Fur babies ❤️ got to say this hotel ticked all the boxes. Fantastic room, late check in (after 10 PM) not a problem. Pet friendly with a Great dog park, with seating and bags.
Staff second to none, very helpful, kind and always smiling 😁 The owner I hear supports the All Blacks (New Zealand) can't hold that against as we are Springboks all the way, we have only won four world cups 😮😄 Keep up the good work, we will be back and tell anyone we know to stay with you if they're ever in Monterey 🙂

Its been my 5th visit to this place, and i now i feel like this is my second home, evrytime i go there , this place is nicest and cleanliness, very friendly staff, all rooms are non smoking rooms, very very clean, and the atmosphere n surrounding is good ,highly recommended.

Honestly, trash. Walls are paper thin, you can hear people breathing next to you, above you, and everywhere around you. Nobody asked us how our stay went upon checkout either. Just a quick “checking out? Ok thanks”. No parking after 6pm so had to park on the street. AC hasn’t been cleaned or filter replaced in years. You get what you pay for. 2 star motel should not mean 2 star service as well but I guess it does at this place. For the price- go somewhere else.

The worst location, the owners spied on me, the room smelled horrible. I checked in and checked out all in a matter of 20 minutes.
I'd rather sleep in my car.

This was my 2nd time here. First time was with my sister for the Monterey Jazz Festival. We grew up here and just wanted to share special times together. Came this time to honor her wishes to have her ashes back where we grew up. Bittersweet.

This was my fourth time staying here and as usual, it was perfect for the price. Other than a loud A/C unit, the rooms are very clean, the neighborhood is a safe area, staff is friendly and helpful and the location perfect. Love this inn!
