My girlfriend and I went to have a nice dinner. We were a little dressed up and had a reservation. When we arrive we are seated in a bar style booth with a cocktail table. Within twelve feet of us is a large table with a large and loud group, a table inbetween us that was only three feet or so away and the other side of our booth had a larger table that remained empty the entire night. The staff didn't think to push the table over or have us use a larger table. We started off with oysters, onion soup and a beef carpaccio. My girlfriend said the oysters were delicious, but that was the highlight of the meal. We ordered a Ribeye and a Beef Wellington as our entrees. My ribeye was order medium rare and was tender. But it was burned. The seasoning tasted like ash and it was more medium than medium rare in my opinion. Their "roasted garlic mashed potatoes" didn't seem to have much if any garlic and their "bacon spiked sauteed spinach" didn't have much of a bacon flavor at all. Any substitutions came with a five dollar upcharge. But it was edible.Unfortunately they served a beef wellington with RAW pastry dough! Fortunately the manger apologized and gave the replacement ribeye for half off. But this ribeye comes out with the center being RAW for a second time. The waiter had the audactiy to say it was ordered "medium rare". I am red green colorblind and don't work with food and I could easily see that the center of the meat was RAW. Not rare, but straight raw. The outside was a bit charred, but it needed to be cooked a second time. The french fries were fine, but definitely not worth the replacement when the dish is almost 70 dollars and it isn't even cooked well.The table could barely fit the steaks let alone appetizers or more than just the waters we had. I am happu I didn't waste money on a drink. I would rather go to a red lobster than burn my money on a bad experience like this.

Pat is a great server. He's been my parents regular server for a couple of years now. I like to go to this restaurant every other year for my birthday, but usually come in besides that as well. The service reminds me of my old fine dining job at Mortons Steakhouse, Sacramento. Oh and we got to see a legend still walking around at 93 years old, ex mayor and major movie star, Clint Eastwood

My kids planned my 55th birthday dinner here. Great time. Food was delicious and great service. Will definitely return for more birthdays and just because.

We had a good experience and our server Christi was very helpful and pleasant. My husband ordered the Orange Ginger Old Fashion and it was yums! Unfortunately we asked for our food items to come out together and they came out separately. It's always awkward eating while others are still waiting for their food. My husband's Beef Wellington was burnt on the bottom too so Christi had to take it back to the kitchen. By then the kitchen was closing so they offered French Fries instead of garlic mashed potatoes!? Overall we made the best of it because it was our anniversary but walked away a bit disappointed.

Absolutely lovely experience celebrating husband's birthday! Very attentive service & known for their excellent meat options-was slightly disappointed in my seared rare Ahi but there are lots of other wonderful options on the menu if you are not a meat eater. Their French Onion soup was excellent as well as a multitude of appetizers/salads we have enjoyed over the years.

The atmosphere was friendly and classy. The service was top notch.The only issue I had was several items being out of stock by the time of our 830 reservation. Get there early or stuff will be sold out.

The food was so good. I was delighted to find out their clam chowder is gluten-free plus several of their desserts were gluten-free. The wait staff were exceptional, especially our waiter, Paul. He was fun and so accommodating. We were celebrating our 17th anniversary and they Gave us a little dessert for free. We enjoyed the entire experience. Thank you.

The restaurant is well kept, atmosphere was nice, the food was amazing but I don't believe the quantity matched the price being charged. At the very least they should include a salad with the $66 beef wellington plate I ordered, but no that will cost another $16. My wife and I enjoyed the experience but we more than likely will not be going back due to quantity.

Best steaks in Monterey for sure! Awesome bar menu, great staff, especially Turbo! Been going here for years and my go-to is the famous steak sandwich. Amazing price for how much you get.

While the Service was absolutely wonderful, drinks from the bar were good and our appetizer was phenomenal. But unfortunately the rest of the visit was not worth the cost. Sad when the food just isn't worth the cost of the visit. Our NY steak was tough, the roasted chicken was mostly dry and our dessert had non ripe fruit. When we spend the amount of money we did you expect perfection. If it weren't for the crispy onions nothing would have had flavor. Sides should be great on their own and not need crispy onions to make anything taste great

Our server Paul was amazing! We got New York steak and filet mignon and it was delicious. The prime rib egg rolls were good too! They had martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives which I also love! ? wonderful Valentine's Day, thank you!

We have eaten here many times and always enjoy the meal and service. It is outstanding in all areas. We ordered a special Kobe Beef Sirloin and Chicken Breast. Both came with Mash potatoes and spinach. All was cooked to perfection,

We haven't been there in sometime. (6 mths) Rather underwhelming this time around. Took my favorite steak off the menu, and the quality seem to drop. Our meal seemed to be thrown together and was not the quality we are used to there. Prices of course were very much higher. Service was the same for the most part. Maybe because it was Valentine's Day was the reason for the lack in quality. Maybe they didn't have enough help. If they made changes they are not good changes.
