Both located 2 minutes from his office. Turns out I have pneumonia. After a vaccine and a prescription and an inhaler I am home

“I rarely write reviews but felt this deserves to be mentioned! Dr. Abdulhai has been such a wonderful provider of care for both myself and most recently, my husband. As a Registered Nurse, I feel I have an extended perspective of what constitutes great medical care and Dr. Abdulhai and his staff have exceeded my expectations every time. He always takes the time needed to address our issues, is responsive to communication and is incredibly thorough in his workup- which is very hard to balance. He has a way of making you feel like he truly cares yet also empowers you to take charge of your health. The fact that he has followed up with phone calls to check on our family is truly amazing- I don't know how he does it all. We are so grateful to have found him!”

“I can see a lot of negative as well as positive reviews, but my own experience was a good one. I am vacationing from out of state & my insurance referred me to Exer as being in network. There was a little misunderstanding about that when I called but quickly cleared up when I went in person. It was Friday night but they weren't busy & were able to see me right away. I had a pretty clear upper respiratory infection so had some Rx meds in short order. One thing to note is the bldg has a weird layout so there's no entrance from the parking lot, you need to access from a walkway that seems like it's the back.”

I've been through a lot of doctors over a half century of doing things the hard way. But I found him. You found him. It's Dr. Christopher Arnold. Let me tell you about my experience with the good doctor. First, his staff was incredibly friendly right when I walked in, which was a nice change from my previous doctor's office. When I first met him, I told him my family medical history, and being honest with him that I was searching for a doctor who would actually take a moment to listen to me and not make me feel like I'm in the way of the next appointment. Dr. Arnold just smiled and said "I will make sure you know your health is my top priority" So here we are, almost a year later, and I'm the healthiest I've been in 25 years. I'm no longer pre-diabetic, no longer overweight (no, not on Ozempic), the list goes on. He's top tier, and I literally stopped getting ready for dinner to stop and tell everyone this. Be well!”

“Apond entering center there was no one to greet for about 10 minutes. Once reaching back with dr she was very brief and little rude. As if she didn’t want to explain what was going on.”

“5/5 for Dr. Dickey. I've been seeing her for about 5 years now and she was able to track down a genetic condition I have and prescribed me the correct medication for some mental health issues I've been suffering from the past decade or so.

I understand it's frustrating trying to get a hold of someone in the office but as someone that sees her every 6 months for bloodwork checkups, I see how busy the office assistants are with answering phones, checking patients in/out, setting up future appointments and taking care of everyone in the waiting rooms.

In my opinion, patience is a virtue. Last time I called, the person answering the phone politely told me I had 2 callers ahead of me and I waited until it was my turn, got my bloodwork faxed to Quest, went over my next appointment and took care of everything in a timely manner.

One other thing to add for those that are tech savvy, they have a newly updated Patient Portal and I've rescheduled appointments numerous times that way without having to call in. It was quick and easy and I even have the option or messaging Dr. Dickey, which I did, for a refill on my asthma medication and it was sent to my pharmacy.

Dr. Dickey is and will continue to be my PCP!”

In an age of doctors who speed-talk through appointments in order to spend the minimum amount of time with you, it’s beyond refreshing to find Dr. Jan who is unhurried, listens patiently, asks all the right questions, and invariably has the right answers.

What’s more, she goes above and beyond the call of duty. In a recent series of emergency mishaps, Dr. Jan was called upon for help. Time was of the essence. She acted swiftly, made all the necessary calls, had to make demands on our behalf, and thanks to her, we received the care we needed.

If only she could be cloned, the medical world would get better reviews.”

“While I am always happy with everyone here at Arroyo Oaks Medical, this review is specifically addressing Dr. Amit Monga and Katie, who is Dr. Monga's nurse (and his right and left arms)!We really never thought that we would ever have the same level of respect for an internist after our doctor left this practice to go into research. We so loved and respected her. I truly knew at my first visit with Dr. Amit Monga, back in July of 2017, that I felt very comfortable and confident with his care. Over the last 5 years, I have grown to have tremendous respect for him. He is so knowledgeable, but never assumes anything. He truly listens to his patients and is a true patient advocate, which is so difficult to find these days in a world of corporate medicine. My family feels the same way. Our son has learning disabilities and Dr. Monga treats him with the same level of respect that he treats all his patients with, but always allows our son the extra time to communicate his needs and current health concerns. Not only do we highly recommend Dr. Amit Monga, but encourage everyone to consult with him if they are not satisfied with their current level of medical care. We are so grateful for his care and kindness and are excited that he is younger than us, so he will be our trusted physician and medical advocate for many years to come.Now Katie, how do we describe a nurse who is just like family to us. She has been our nurse since 2006. We cannot imagine how we could every have the same level of confidence and trust in anyone else. Katie has been so integral in helping our family stay healthy and when there is an emergency, she will bend over backwards to help in anyway she can. We have told her many times that she is never allowed to retire. Saying thank you to both Dr. Amit Monga and to Katie, seems inadequate, as they are truly professionals and have made such a significant difference for our family.”
