I've been working with Carol from the Moorpark, CA location for years. She is professional, polite and carefully explains new tax laws/rules and what is in my best interest. This was my first time using H&R Block to prepare my taxes. Due to Covid it was a drop off situation so no sitting with person doing my taxes. I was quoted 190.00 dollars to prepare and file. When going back to pick up my package. I was told and my paper stated I could expect x amount back as my return. Then I noticed instead of the original amount quoted I was now being charged 259.00 for the preparation of my taxes. Then after my tax return was deposited into my account it was 39.00 less due to a processing fee that they forgot to mention. Too many things went wrong to mention. I will NEVER use them again! Please be warned! Not at all honest.
