0 stars! Desiree is a miserable person who has zero customer service skills. The first encounter I had with her was 2 years ago when she cussed my 14 year old daughter out. Tonight we stopped in for a tub of ice cream and the couple in front of us paid for scoops, Desiree says we can go walk back to the pharmacy to pay it will be faster, I told her we'll wait no biggie. The customer told her to go ahead and ring us up since we had an ice cream tub, she proceeds to tell them no they can walk all the way to the back and pay. I asked her why she speaks to customers so rudely, she responds with she can say whatever she wants when she wants. I work retail and I would never speak to customers the way she does. She is rude and needs customer service training ASAP. The customers in front of me even apologized for her rude behavior. The manager on duty highly suggested I call corporate and make a complaint. He apologized for the bad experience but I don't think I'll be back.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Horrible service. Their customers are treated like they are McDonald customers ordering a cheap burger, not like patients. Even if you are dying and need the medication to save your life, if it's 6.02 on a weekend, the response is "Oh, well, tough break, see ya' when we open at 10 am". My experience with the bald tech with the mustache. He also goofed up on other occasions. I'm going to Burts.

I used to spend so much money at Rite Aid and I like their old system but now they change their point system You have to go online and convert and if you're an older person a lot of times They don't even know how to do it and then you have to use it by the end of the month otherwise it goes away Probably won't be spending that much there anymore

I go to this Rite Aide often and I thought it was time to write a review and give credit where it is due. The staff of the store itself is super friendly and courteous, which is important to me. The store is tidy and clean. I also use the pharmacy at this store and I love the staff there as well. The Thrifty's Ice Cream is a classic. The only improvement I would mention would be maybe one more cashier at the busy times.

Back story: I was in Santa Clarita for a visit at the women's soccer team at a college. Transferring to a 4-year as a junior this coming Fall. After practice my thumb was badly bruised, I was in pain and could only drive 40 minutes to my grandparents house, while my house was 3 hours away because of LA traffic. I went to this Rite Aid before going home the next day because of my hand couldn't take a chance of not splinting it until I saw my doctor. I asked a lady named Rose, fantastic lady. When I asked where the splints were, she showed me. I told her that I recently got hurt and all I needed was a splint to just make it home., but she wanted to make sure I was okay asking if I needed anymore products. I said no thank you because I have dealt with broken bones for the past 4 years and know what to do before I see my doctor. She was polite and also asked me if I needed the pharmacist to check it, but I politely declined. However, it did not stop there. When I was going to checkout Heather, the cashier, was polite and sympathetic. When there was someone behind me, I was trying to open the box with one hand. Heather asked if she could help and let me stay at the original checkstand I was at to make sure I did not feel rushed to get out. Rose comes back up and asks me just one more time if I need any assistance or any help at all. These were ladies were the best. I have never got this great of customer service before. I hope they understand that they helped me get home without any tears in my eyes because I do have a fracture which is called an avulsion fracture. Thank you ladies, don't let other people bring you down! I am hoping to see you guys again when I come visit my grandparents again, but for ice cream or something way different than a splint and chips.

Love this store ! Everyone is friendly and helpful. I stopped by for a beer run during Super Bowl weekend,. I like the location ....not in a shopping center. Clean and Organize. Employees greeted me as I entered store and asked if they could help several times. its rare to find people willing to help!

It's always a great pleasure to write a positive review. The Rite Aid in Moorpark is one of the cleanest and well organized stores in Ventura County. But that's not what my review is about. I'm diabetic and need alcohol to clean the spot I poke on my finger to draw blood. Finding alcohol is not an easy task these days. I couldn't find the liquid, so I just got the alcohol pads, walked to the cashier to pay. I asked him if he would know when they would get the solution, the liquid. While he was trying to get the next delivery date, other cashier, probably supervisor, asked me to wait, ran to the back and got me a bottle of alcohol, I thanked him and asked him for the aisle number so I can get a second bottle, he jumped before I could finish my sentence and got me a second bottle of nice 91% alcohol. I believe they had just received it and the first cashier wasn't aware of it.This is customer service and professionalism at it's best. Putting it in simple words; they care. Period.Their staff is very well trained, they are friendly, patient while keeping it at a pleasant professional level. This is my favorite store and pharmacy and I would recommend it without any reservations.

I am so thankful to Mary who went above and beyond to help us out. We needed distilled water for the cpap machines, yet due to high risk could not go into the store. Mary arranged for us to pay at the drive up pharmacy, and the have the water brought out front. We are so thankful for the help, and the concern for our health.

DO NOT SEND YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE. This Rite Aid pharmacy is one of the WORST pharmacies I have ever been to. They are unorganized, RUDE, and inefficient. The only reason I even had my prescription filled here in the first place was because it was convenient since they had a drive-thru, however, it's not even worth it considering the service is so awful. Anytime I would get my prescription filled here there was always a problem or the pharmacist was out of the office and wasn't able to fill the prescription. This was a constant occurrence to the point where I didn't even want to get my prescription filled here anymore because every single time it was always a problem. They take no accountability for their problems and wrong doings So don't expect anyone to take any kind of responsibility for messing up your prescriptions. Very frustrating and disappointing considering this is the only Rite Aid in my area. I'd rather drive 20 minutes away and get better service than deal with them or go to CVS.

My favorite thing about west coast Rite Aids is they all have a Thrifty's Ice Cream stand. They're also available in half gallons and gallons in the freezer section. But their ice cream is bomb. Scooped with their signature flat bottom scooper always makes for a cute ice cream photo. My favorite is Chocolate Malted Crunch but I'm still working my way thru the flavors. What's your favorite flavor?

I am surprised at some of the negative reviews . I have been coming here for years and everyone is great. I especially want to thank Jeremy for his great customer service. He goes above and beyond and is always pleasant. All the rest of the associates and Manager are very helpful as well.

I have been going to Rite Aid in Moorpark for many years now and I have never have had a bad experience there. The people are wonderful including Barbara, who helped me out yesterday. She helped me in the drive thru and made sure I got what I needed in a timely manner. She also told me about the flu shots they were offering and gave me information about that. Barbara was super friendly and made my experience on the drive thru wonderful! Thanks Barbara!!

Please empower your people, train them etc on customer service. It's very frustrating to be met with blank stares every time you have a question.
