This place sucks. I would rather drive to Lafayette or literally anywhere than go to this place. I left my card here and was on hold for 20 plus minutes till I just gave up.

Went in looking for a popular IG makeup remover-- after talking to Ellis (extremely knowledgeable about products at CVS and beyond!) went home with a decent, reputable alternative that addressed my skin type and issues. Took the time to explain skin care as well (and was loaded up with samples to try before I buy!) Girl on a budget these days has got to be choosy! THEN-- Sally at checkout gave great customer service (double checking sale price and applying coupons) This is my go to CVS from.now.on!

The customer service at this pharmacy is atrocious! I called for an early refill due to going on vacation. Waited to speak with a pharmacist for over 30 minutes. Got disconnected once, then transferred me to the same non- pharmacy personal. When I finally spoke with a pharmacist, I was told that the prescription was prescribed to be dispensed on 8/31. The pharmacist said she would not dispense it until I called again!!! That prescriptions were filled on a first come, first serve basis!

I have lived in Moraga my entire life and I have used this CVS my entire life. I have always had great experiences until about the last year or two years nothing too major until today. When after yesterday I had spent approximately $400 on products. I come in today after getting terrible news that over $10,000 has been stolen from me and my bank said I could still use Apple Pay with my other account. For some reason it was not working even though the funds are in the account and they did call my bank and verify this event told me that I need to write a check. No problem. I have cashed over six checks at this CVS location alone when I have had my cards compromised previously. That is until today. After shopping for quite a while with the beauty consultant. I got some products I was really happy to try. Unfortunately, when my Apple Pay did not work and the bank told me I need to do a check I had to go home and get a check before I left for home. I made sure to ask the staff that I could use a check and they said of course no problem. Then when I return the young male cashier who is wearing a red T-shirt was quite condescending, quiet, low energy, and frankly did not know what he was doing. I say this because firstly, he tells me that I cannot pay with a check and that's not normal. I don't inform him that I have paid with a check many times at the CVS as well as a few other times that other CVS locations when my cards have became compromised through the years. This young man then tries to tell me that my check is invalid because it's not going into the check reading machine. The problem was he does not know how to properly use a check as a form of payment. He was attempting to feed the check from the top of the check machine. And then telling me it's my fault that my check is bad when he is uneducated and untrained because if he was properly trained, he would know that the check must be fed from the bottom of the machine. After being extremely rude to me he doesn't know what to do next and I put it on the screen to tell him that it is asking for the account number. He then enters the routing number and not the account number because apparently he doesn't know how checks work. Then when it asked for the sequence number, he enters my account number also missing a few digits. If he was properly trained, he would know that the sequence number is the check number. He then tries to tell me that it's my fault that my check doesn't work and I don't have the money when I In fact I have use this checkbook every time I have paid by check and it's still my current account number and there is still plenty of funds on it and I even showed him on my phone. He then continues to try to shove the check into the top of the machine saying that my check is bad. The level of incompetence is astounding. But that's not the worst part. the store manager came and she said she would try it and again does not process the check correctly and I inform them that they are processing this wrong. Then the employees both manager and cashier yell at me to get the fuck out as I'm just trying to tell them that this is so unprofessional. one employee held back another because he was trying to get in my face with his chest and assault me. The pathetic manger tells me to get out when they have attacked me and I have spent so much money at this store even when it was Longs Drugs. I'm sure they don't even live here but this is a small town and you cant get away with check fraud. I have never been attacked and gaslight by a company like this in my life. Now I use Walnut Creek CVS and have been treated like a human and not a customer for the moraga staff to abuse. I was going to let this go but now I'm looking at legal remedies.

This CVS pharmacy is the WORST. They will refuse to fill my doctor's prescription and said that I could just buy the same thing over the counter. You are NOT my doctor. Do your job and fill my prescription. Also, they will yell at you for getting there half an hour before closing. They said it is too close to the closing time. Isn't this the whole point of having a business hours. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! DON'T COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA BE TREATED LIKE CRAP! CVS Management! You guys need to care your customers. Otherwise. Just go out of business!

Lack of care and willingness to help resolve glitches with electronic prescriptions. Lies involved ( I rather not say who exactly).

I had the worst experience I've ever had with a pharmacy here. I recently moved and wanted to move a prescription here. The pharmacist asked for my insurance information and I said I'd be self pay (something I've done for years with other chains and with other CVS locations). At first he said no- they would only fill if it was through health insurance. I'm aware of the retail price and they have a record of me paying retail for YEARS at another location. After much back and forth I was told to have my physician submit a prescription, but he'd filled if I "had a good record" and only if I lived near the store (I do).On top of that I said my old pharmacy (different chain) was out of stock and was told they were just telling me that because they didn't want to continue to accept my self paid prescriptions. WOW. My old pharmacy (Costco- highly recommend!) went above and beyond for me when needed. I'll be escalating this issue.

This is the worse pharmacy ever!!!! For 3 HOURS, I continuously called and no one answered the phone. Oh wait, I am wrong. Someone picked up the phone and hung up the phone on me numerous times. Seriously, WTF!!!! I finally gave up. I advise taking your prescriptions somewhere else.

Omg ... I just spent 300 dollars here but I wish I did not. This store had no prices for certain items so I asked them to check the prices with the cashier. 4 items was lacking pricing. The cashier got irritated because of this and keep mistreating my mother and even gave me the finger ! Never ever spending my money at this cvs ! What is wrong with people nowadays . Why do men think they can treat you however they want? And guess what the manager , said when I asked what was the dude's problem? the same cashier had a run in with another customer early this morning. Go figure why this person is on the floor.

My doctor tried to call in a prescription to this CVS. After never getting through, he had to mail me the prescription. I try to be charitable with local businesses, and I like a lot of the people who work the counter here and they're trying - I suspect this is more the fault of whomever is woefully understaffing this place. You can never get through on the phone and waiting in line takes forever. The CVS in my old neighborhood in SF didn't have any of these problems. I hope something can be done to give the workers here more support. If they can't even pick up the phone for doctors here and I can't even get my prescriptions through I will have to stop coming.

The cvs in moraga at 580 moraga rd has terrible marketing practices. They call to try to get you to place refills almost immediately after placing the original order. When calling to stop the robo calls they said I had to call another number. Ursula in the pharmacy was just plain rude. I will move my scripts elsewhere. Also the waste of paper in the receipts is just silly. Cvs is not a good company.

I am so baffled at the experience I encountered by the employee Diana and the supervisor Jamie. I walk in as she was leaned over the counter on her phone, this really didn't bother me. She then proceeded to assist, as I came to pick up my photos. What bothered me, was her agitation towards me because she couldn't find my order when I gave her my name offered to give email confirmation etc, which she didn't want. Interesting. She finally found it after me saying my name more than 3x upon her request and I even said my last name, but scolded me, gave me such attitude. I even asked Ma'am why are You treating me this way? She shewed me away and said here is my name if you need it. I talked to the supervisor he said, "I don't know, I'll try and talk to her. "

I have tried to give CVS a chance for years, alas I'm done trying. This Moraga store, a store in SF and Walnut Creek that I have frequented all have the same problems: 1. No help on the floor; unfriendly cashiers who seemingly would rather talk to each other than customers; not any different than shopping online, so why would I continue to come in person? Please help me to understand the value added to my experience of visiting a brick and mortar without good customer service (or better prices). And now that Amazon does same-day deliveries, immediate convenience is not even a differentiator these days. 2. Prices are high(er than competition) especially because their couponing system is whack (see next). 3. Coupon machine is *always* broken. It's set up at the end of an aisle by the entrance/cashier for convenience, but isn't operable. Plus, I'm made to feel like a burden when requesting help to use/fix it. Today, the cashier simply said "sorry" after I spent 10 minutes trying to simply type in my phone number (buggy machine wouldn't register the proper keys, was very delayed and took longer than computers from the 90s). I tried to be patient which is why I spent the time that I did (despite 5+ similar experiences in the past). I requested the store manager and when he eventually came over to try and help, he repeatedly told me it wasn't going to work, that I should try the (similarly non functioning) machine in the back. When I stayed there for more of a resolution, he restarted the machine with a sigh. Unsurprisingly, the machine didn't start functioning again. I thanked him for his effort (because I know he was frustrated with it too) and approached the cashier again who was holding my basket of goods. She asked me to try the machine in back as well. Why would I try that machine again? It's unlikely to work differently 20min later with no intervention... she then suggested I buy one item, print the coupons from that purchase and use them for the rest of my goods... the coupons that print out are different (and usually less relevant/cannot be used day of) from the kiosk coupons. When I asked about that, she sheepishly admitted they were different. She started checking me out, didn't ask for my loyalty card number, and then asked if I wanted to pay for a bag. I understand that Moraga charges for bags, but why would I spend even more at your store after yet another bad experience? Overall, not the right way to treat a paying customer ($117 purchase today). Although 9/10 I walk out of CVS feeling annoyed/burdensome/spending more than one should, I have kept trying to give the local brick and mortar stores a chance.... alas, today was my last straw. I plan not only to shop at competitors/online, but also to spread the word about the lousy customer service and poor pricing/coupon experiences at CVS.
