I've been with Altura Credit Union for over fifteen years and I have never had any problems. I recommended the credit union to a friend and they purchased a vehicle. After four years the person had some financial difficulties and called the auto finance department to explain the situation and started making partial payments monthly. The car was picked up for non payment. Now, the company Altura selected is Par North America repossession company in Indiana. I was told they were given information about the invoice that needed to be sent from the towing company to the credit union stalling time. Due to it being on a Friday, the car would it in the towing yard for three days and maybe four. I decided to look up the Par North America repossession company and they are not Better Business Bureau Accredited and the customer ratings are one star. Why would Altura credit union use a company that is not BBB Accredited and with bad reviews? I was also informed that the credit union said they made attempts to contact the customer via phone, email and mail to no avail. The family did not receive any written correspondence, email or mail and if they attempted to call the number was not recognized. I am so disappointed that a credit union would do business like that when they appear to care about their customers.

Salvador with Auto experts help me and my wife get a new Auto it was painless he was very professional I like that he was all business not a lot of small talk had all this paperwork ready answer all my questions I appreciate it his service and doing business with Auto experts in Salvador.

This is closest location to me and it is upsetting that every time I come in to try to use the coin machine it is always out of service. Why even bother having it there if it is always out of service.

I've been a member for years and am always very pleased with each service and encounter I have with every associate. DiAnna specifically was so helpful when I was opening a new account and answered all of my questions with so much patience and kindness. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!

Doing Business with this credit union for years, just small discrepancies nothing but inconsistencies, very good credit Union but a lot of turnover with employees,that don't know your name even even though been doing business with them for years. Called Auto Expert to try to buy a car talked to a female she said Auto Expert person would call me back, no call back, called the next day his person said she will give the message to whom ever is in charge no call back, I gave up , went on my own to purchase a car,not happy with Auto Expert.

Wow, that business owner took the time to write all that about his checks. I was recommended here in the Elks Lodge but i guess not. Reviews do help, Thanks........Thanks for the reply Altura , there was not a direct reply but i am just editing my review to reply to you.Not sure if you are aware but the business owner has a large amount of followers on IG, FB, Linkedin. He uploaded his statements and deposit date along with the whole explanation of how you guys think its suspicious of him to withdraw money from a new account, he is kind of proving his point. He created a group just on this matter and his followers are canceling Altura accounts. You should consider helping him as they are advising him to take legal action on his chats, then remove the post from Google. I have the same type of checks as why i did not go to Altura

I’m disappointed to say that my experience with this bank has been incredibly frustrating. I deposited ERC government checks over a month ago, and despite numerous attempts, they still haven’t managed to clear or verify them. This level of inefficiency and lack of urgency is truly disheartening.I understand that these checks are important to me, and I expected a basic level of competence from a bank. Unfortunately, that seems to be lacking here. I’ve wasted so much time and energy trying to get this issue resolved, only to be met with ongoing confusion and inability to provide a solution.Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this bank to anyone. Their inability to handle such a basic task and their lack of responsiveness is a major concern. I will be looking into other options that can provide better service and reliability.

Easiest car buying experience ever. The loan was approved within an hour, Sal Lizarraga with the Auto Expert called to talk about what I was looking for a few minutes later and had tracked down my car the same afternoon. It was delivered, I signed a couple of papers, easy peasy. Big thanks to Sal for taking care of the details and being patient while I made up my mind!

I give this branch a 5 star review, at first I read other reviews prior to coming here but I didn't let the negativity stop me from giving them a chance. I walked in and Ashley took care of me perfectly. She's quick, efficient, and very sweet every time I come in and she remembers me and greets me with the most beautiful personality . 10/10 recommend going to her for anything you need. Thank you Ashley for all your hard work you've been nothing but help every time I come in. This branch needs more people like you! My go to credit union for sure.

So I had originally written an excellent review about my first visit. The reason it is changing is because during the first visit, the assistant supervisor had told me what I needed to do to deposit a check (large amount). So I did exactly what she had said. When I returned after completing the task, she then said she would not deposit the check unless I do THIS task now. The unfortunate thing is that my check is now on the verge of expiring, so I had to call to have a new one sent to me. This is a complete disaster and horrible experience. Thanks for the added stress
