Hertz has yet to contact me even though they advised they would. The replies to reviews are generic and no one ever follows up. Don’t be fooled this place is the absolute worst. They’re not even registered with the BBB that tells you something.
**Original review**
It’s a reason why this location has a 2.7 rate. It’s because they suck. The staff is unprofessional and disorganized. The cars at this location are old and not worth the cost. Even though Apple Pay is offered online, never prepay this way because they will tell you it’s not accepted. Then they will cancel your reservation and advise you to call and rebook at a more expensive rate. The hold and waiting times are ridiculous. Anxiously waiting for this horrible service to be over they will put you in a bucket that smells and has over 76,600 miles. I had a reservation for 7 days but on day 4 I brought it back because the breaks were squeaking and transmission was having issues switching gears. This car wasn’t safe. I was told to keep it, switch it for a smaller car or return it early and not get any money back. I’m not being forced to pay for bad service so I didn’t get any money back for retuning the car back 3 days earlier than reserved for. I ended up going to Avis and renting a newer safer car
Zoom in on the dash picture and see warning lights. Then google what they mean. The auto start off and on never worked and you can see why. That warning ⚠️ warning ‼️ means something is wrong. There is another light on the dash to the bottom right. Not sure what that was.
I don’t have facebook. There has to be another line of communication you all can offer.

Horrible customer service! If this business wants returning customers they should be good to the clientele that puts money into their corporation! If I feel your vehicle is unsafe and in the moment I’m not interested in continuing the contract based on your negligence, why not do the right thing to keep business rotating! Word of mouth is our best advertisement, because your ratings online is enough to surely not want most people to patronize this company. Anyhoo #dobetterhertz

If I could rate this place zero stars, I would because lord knows they don’t even deserve the one.. They provided my mother with the absolute worst service I’ve ever witnessed. They basically tried to force her to stay in a car she felt unsafe in 4 days into a 7 day reservation or she wouldn’t get her money back. Not to mention the outrageous holds put on her payment due to false advertisement regarding the acceptance of ApplePay. They basically made her pay for the same reservation twice with NO insurance. Don’t even get me started in the condition of the car! Bad brakes, bad transmission, weak AC and it smelled like the employees use the car for their smoke breaks. If this were the last place in the world to rent a car, I’d LITERALLY rather walk.

They will try to make you wait multiple hours until Rental shipment gets there

Extremely slow and rude. African lady was extremely rude. Big hair lady very unprofessional. I’ll never rent a car from hertz again thanks to her.

Their website prompted that the reservation was eligible for local pick up ( they would drop off the car to our house since we were within the mile range). In the email confirmation it was also written out that we had requested local pick up and that their branch would be reaching out to confirm details. We never received a call. On the day of the rental we called them, only for them to say they do not offer this service ( even though their website said that they did). This placed a major delay and confusion in our trip. The branch manager does not have his phone number listed on his business card and it is just the general customer service line. The counter girl was nice, but everything was beyond her control. There is a major discrepancy in what they are advertising and promising and the service they are providing at this branch.

Three employees only one actually working. Upsold after getting a deal through AAA. Returning the car early took nearly an hour. Argued over fuel level 3/4(returned) vs 7/8 (given to us) when they don't even fill the cars they just give the next person the car at the same level they got it but want to charge $12 per gallon to fill it when the gas station is 100 feet away.

I went to this place on 01/15/24 Monday at 4:45pm thinking if I pick it up around 5pm I can return it late around the same time on the day of return. I waited there for over 20 minutes while the lady helped the one person ahead of me! Since it took that long to help a single client by then there were two ladies waiting to return vehicles so I figured let me do the right thing and let them do the return I don’t mind waiting a little longer since the same person that was at the counter had to leave the counter to do vehicle inspections ( return and pick up)By the time it was my turn I explained to the lady that I was on their specific webpage and I see many options but I preferred to walk in in person because I didn’t want an electric vehicle since I’m going out of town and didn’t want to have to charge it and deal with it.She was understanding and started to search! Within couple of minutes she received a phone call from someone possibly name Mike and it sounded like her boss because she was oh ok! Oh ok! And immediately hung up looked at me and said all I have is one q4 ( electric vehicle) and they wanted premium price for it! How disgusting!! The boss wants to go home it’s almost closing time so let’s tell this customer take it or leave it! I of course left and definitely not going back to any hertz and especially that location!! Maybe corporate needs to look into management in that location because not only they have the same two ladies doing it all while people waiting 40 plus minutes! It seems like the boss there doesn’t really like being there.

I did everything online and then I get to the window show my ID and that is no longer enough, I need my work ID, a social security card and blood donation. I just want my vehicle, a smile and thank you for you business but I maybe asking for too much at this location! I will never come here again even if I have to drive an additional 25 miles to take my business elsewhere! ?
