I purchased 2 pairs of shoes online but my son only likes the way one pair fit. Per the site returns can be done at your local store. I visitied the store in the Moreno Valley mall and the store rep advised they could not return even with the receipt. I called the customer service line and was offered to have return slip emailed to me but i would have pay the shipping? Not the way to do buisness. Requested to speak to supervisor, no fault on the customer service rep she was just following her call script. Then spoke to supervisor by the name of Maria who was polite and offered to waive the shipping which was a start. Advised that does not cover the wasted time to go to store to return and now additional waste of time to go to post office to mail back. I was offered a $15 coupon which is not enough to keep me as a customer. Advised her to keep it since i dont have any intent to purchase anything from journeys going forward.
F.Y.I. I was told during the call that the stores do not like taking returns since it hurts their store sales number. Dont see why this should be my problem.
With so many online retailers Journeys needs to work on customer retention.

went about a week ago and a young lady working there was being rude. it didn’t seem like she wanted to be working there and was eyeing me in a bad way while i was shopping around and trying on my shoes. once it was time to pay she kept on giving us very weird looks as if buying some converse is weird. she just looked so bored and mean ?

So I just went on dec 21 and I had went 2 times before that toBuy my son shoes and a young lady helped very helpful very kind . But when I used my debit card she never asked me for my id and I’ve been two the journeys even at the Tyler mall and they never ask for an id with a debit card and I use the very noticeable edd bank of American card . That everyone knows is a debit card . So back to my shopping experience dec 21 2020 the nice young lady was ringing up another older women helping her . So I was being helped by a older women dressed younger I didn’t catch her name but she had a big nose . Anyways so she goes to ring me up and demands I show her my id as I look over and the young lady ringing up the older lady beside me never asked for her Id . I said it’s a debit card she said it doesn’t matter I need to see id mind you I have a face shield and a mask on and I’m ready to pay and have to look threw my whole bag but I do and find it pay and leave but that associate was very rude and if not all the employees are asking for ids . You shouldn’t demand just one person it comes across as profiling.

I called ahead of time to see if they had a specific shoes in the sizes and style I wanted to purchase it in. They said they had the shoes so I drive down to try and buy and welp they didn’t even carry the style that I was looking for. Awesome. I don’t think I’ll come back here or recommend them in the future unless you have time to waste. Thanks

It's a dump. It has become a flea market. A number of stores have gone out of business, Hometown Buffet has closed it's doors and new stores are just the same old independent stores that open up and close within 12 months. Sears is barely surviving and the mall is a ghost town during the week. The movie theatre is the only fairly busy place. It is on it's way down, I've seen the exact same thing happen to other malls. Should have left it a raceway.
